I bought an identical bag from decathlon for my wife for $50 (travel 500 organiser). I use a farpoint 40 . Great bag. , excellent video, perfect information, just wanted to share my info with your viewers 🙏
Really nice video! Well thought out clothes, and accessories! Loved watching the folding process the JAZZ makes it so relaxing!! Amazingly well done, now I am ready for bed! ❤️🤣☀️🐾❤️ THANK YOU
I love love love your videos. Such a refreshing change of pace from the tech and gear-centric "digital nomad" vibe. I also noticed that you don't really do the capsule wardrobe. How come?
So glad you like them! Thanks so much for watching! Packing is stressful so I try to keep it as relaxing as possible ha. Capsule wardrobes are awesome and I try to keep it pretty minimal with pants, outerwear and hats but when it comes to t shirts I’ve just collected too many over the years that I like too much to get rid of! I love buying band shirts too to support musicians and I have a ton of them so tough to do the real capsule wardrobe but definitely think it’s cool to do if you can.
The comments about weight being a problem is laughable, I have multiple bags close on 4 pounds and packed with everything I need haven’t gone over 14.5 lbs total! You really don’t need half as much stuff as you think and merino helps a lot also. There is something very liberating about travelling light 😊
I liked your technique of rolling the clothes, the bag and the detergent look great. Also you made a small typing error in the bio of this vid, 'everyone few years' :)
I'm also a one bag packer no matter the length, although longest I've been on a trip is 3 weeks. I do pack 3 tank tops because I'm just used to wearing one underneath. I like having 5 shirts, and at least 2 long sleeves, black joggers, black jeans because they go with anything, dark blue jeans, a light jacket, 4, socks, 5 underwear, 2 shorts (one is for sleeping) an a hat that can be folded. IF is winter then a winter hat and things may change a bit.
This video had a perfect format. I love watching people folding and packing things. But I gotta say, the lack of packing cubes (underwear packed loose in the biggest compartment…) and lack of attention to weight distribution, made me slightly frustrated. Just in the „how can you do that differently” way we all feel sometimes on the internet. But overall a pleasant video!
hello otl, thank you for the stream of this cotapaxia - came from the adidas airline mini. two weeks travel - does your partner match you with the backpack for two weeks. thought for you an extra (for green) - do not take their shopping bags over there. the bag has a nice shell. elle for waist back holdup
It has for me! Not sure about some of the more budget airlines but I’ve flown with it on Southwest, American and United before. Might be more comfortable putting it in the overhead though.
Great video. I appreciate your advice. I couldn't read the text for each item. Can you post in your description? I have the 42 litre version of your bag. I love it, but I wish I had gotten the smaller size now.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, sorry about the text size! Learned to make that bigger in the newer video ha. 42 is definitely large! I’m all about longer term travel with smaller bags by utilizing sink laundry.
@@outenthelights For my last two 2w trips, I took enough clothes for 5 days and arranged to stay in a hotel for 2 nights and sent my laundry out. That works for me. I am going to dial it back even more as I didn't wear a couple of items I took.
Is that considered a - carry on - that goes in the overhead bin or a - personal item - that can go under a seat ( avoiding bag fees on discount carriers like Allegiant ) ?
This would be a carry on not a personal item so something that would go above. Something this size I like to use on international flights. Mostly I go with just the personal item bag on domestic - way easier to travel like that. I did some videos on that too!
Hmm honestly no idea. I know the bag itself weights 3 lbs 8 ounces though. Whatever it was, I had no problems traveling internationally with this setup.
3lbs 8oz is a lot of weight seeing your only allowed 17lbs . I think I would rather get a lighter bag and have the extra lbs for things I want to pack or things I want to buy .
@@0mfgeezeNice . I’ve been using the Arcane Duffel Pack . It’s a duffel bag and a backpack . It’s really comfortable and the weight is 1.89 lbs . It’s almost 2 lbs lighter . I’m not saying there’s no right or wrong answer , but this works for me . I usually pack between 14 and 15 lbs , so it gives me a few extra lbs to play with .
Thanks so much! Good call! Right now I just have a code with Andar. But you can use code "OUTENTHELIGHTS" to get 15% off on Andar's website if you like anything over there: andar.crrnt.app/zGXWdXp2
Probably the first packing video I watched that didn’t mention Merino. Thank you!
Ha you’re welcome!
Lmaoooo😂
Really great video, so happy that i stumbled upon it.
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it!

Definitely!!
I agree about the pleasures of packing light, and I've done full months on 7kg 22L

Thanks for watching! lol I guess I am human too after all

Great packing list right here!

Thank you for watching! Sometimes she’ll do the backpack but a lot of times she does the small Away roller. But we never check bags!
Does this bag fit under the seat on an airplane?
It has for me! Not sure about some of the more budget airlines but I’ve flown with it on Southwest, American and United before. Might be more comfortable putting it in the overhead though.
Have you ever explored Marino wool or other travel popular clothing? I haven’t yet, but keep meaning to for my next longer trip!
Nah still no merino wool - I like my t shirts. Maybe someday though.
How would you plan for a more longevity trip to multiple climates? both cold and hot weather?
Probably not too much differently overall. Maybe a packable jacket, some boots instead of sneakers, etc.
Did I miss the toiletries?
Yep the kavu bag is in there!

That’s awesome! Super minimal!
love that mbv shirt!
Love me some MBV!

9:00 Do you have a bag for that thin strip?
I used a little canvas bag for the laundry strip but it’s not needed. You could just use a zip lock bag instead.
Great video!have you heard about UNBOUND MERINO?they are great specially for travelling!🇬🇧
Thanks!! Not that brand but definitely seeing lots of merino tees these days. I’ll have to try some out sometime! Thanks for the rec!
What was the approx weight if you remember?
Hmm honestly no idea. I know the bag itself weights 3 lbs 8 ounces though. Whatever it was, I had no problems traveling internationally with this setup.
Do laundry twice on the trip, then carry less items.
Go for it!
6k views! Congrats :)
Thanks! So happy to see that people are watching!
Very insightful vid! Got a bit from it. Subbed from Andar's creator's community
Thanks for the sub!
Makes sense that your wife uses an Away bag. I use a Travelpro 19” spinner. No more big backpacks for me!
Link for the bag?

What color cotopaxi bag is that? Thanks
I believe Cotopaxi calls it wine? It’s like a purplish though.
❤❤
One pair of pants and one pair of shorts? 😮
You got it! No need for more!
I beat melanoma. I can't wear shorts outside. I have to do pants. It sucks. I live outside of Atlanta and it's always hot.
HOLD UP.!!! Reebook shoes and Nike socks??? LOL
Haha I know a little sacrilege of me

Nice! Yeah totally up to the individual on how they want to pack and what bag they want to use!
I own this bag and the padded shoulder straps and hip felt are wonderful when you're walking a long way with a heavy pack,!

wat too many underpants, two will be the best amount three the most. bringing too many clothing means accumulation of dirty clothing.
It’s the right amount for me!
