In this video I go over a few different nodes in Redshift that are either new (tiles) or not used as often as they should be (Tri-Planar, Ramp, and Round Corners).
Note: You need to update Redshift to the latest version for the Tiles node)

19:24 Ramp Node, I didnt know how to input the texture into the ramp node with the new UI, I had so much trouble finding how.

    Nice overview, thanks!
There's also a new bricks shader that came along with the tiles in the latest update which has a few additional options for displacements. It might be a good procedural workflow, and you could always feed in textures and gradients instead of fixed colours. But I'll need to try it out a bit more before I give my verdict. I never really used the shaders in standard or physical back in the day, either, and I'm not sure yet if the Redshift implementation will be different.

I knew I missed something! These types of shaders were great before so many pre-made materials/images were available online. They still have uses, but using images gives more realistic results faster.
