Are those fitted or companion tubes? I've been debating on which route to take. On a side note I was at Briley today buying some chokes and Old Man Briley came out of the back waddling with his cane to say hello to the customers.
These are companion tubes. The fitted had a 6 week turn around time and we could not wait that long. So far so good.... they rattle a bit when you close the gun but seems not to effect proformance.
She said, at one point, "It's hard to break 'em hard with this...." I'm betting she has skeet chokes in her gun. If she wants to see 'hard' breaks, suggest she put in Modified chokes. It will be a bit more difficult to break them (I think she can handle it), but the breaks WILL be more satisfying.
I need some help me and the girlfriend want to try out shooting skeet at the local club. I seen a 410 over & under for 450 is it worth it to get her a 410 or a 20 she is 5foot tall and 140 pounds

I'm not an expert shotgunner or anything, but I have had some formal training...it seems to me that Danny's gun mount is REALLY low, and he also has to crane his neck way forward as a result. By comparison his sister's mount looks much more natural and comfortable. Is there a reason for this or has a really good professional coach ever examined his technique? I'm not asking to be unpleasant, but both your kids seem to be REALLY talented, and honestly if it was me I'm not sure I'd be able to hit ANYTHING with his gun mount...so I'm doubly impressed that he's as good as he is. Btw, seems like both of them are great kids, and it's awesome you have em doing such a great sport with you. Looking forward to more videos!

Same gun, same trigger, same reliability, same point of impact (hopefully), and the weight (and everything else) is a lot closer to being consistent for all gauges than if you had 4 different guns for each gauge. Adding weight is always good in shooting sports because in a tournament after hundreds of rounds are fired you can start to flinch.

The only place that I disagree is that weight isn't always good - I do handgun speed shooting, and lighter guns make for faster target transitions. But, again, I know nothing of shotgunning as it isn't my cup of tea. Hefty recoil could bring one to flinch after a while.

For American skeet they range from 500 to 700 us. For international Skeet they are free :) They are used in American Skeet because it is shot with 4 gauges... (12, 20, 28 and 410).
The idea is to have one gun that is fitted to you, with tubes in in the four gauges used in American skeet- 12, 20 28 and.410 bore. Cheaper by far than four fitted guns, or one gun with four barrel sets. Hope this helps.
please please please let your children training on international skeet I mean let them shoot without mounting the gun ... you have 2 Olympic champions there but you need to trained them in the correct way .

If your on the target breaks if your not it wont. Gauge means very little .
