  • Hello everybody!
    Welcome to our apartment in Seoul! We are living in a very typical Korean apartment in a residential area in Seoul and this video is a tour of it! ;)
    Hope you'll find it interesting!
    Are Korean apartments different to apartments/housing in your country?

    Honestly, of all the apartments I've seen in korea, yours is one of the cutest! This would be perfect for me. Really cozy but not too small, and has character. I love the colors because oftentimes korean apartments are really gray and lifeless.
    Also I think the big sinks are for making kimchi. You can salt your cabbages in there and whatnot.

    • @Victoria_Lee
      @Victoria_Lee  4 роки тому +2

      Hello! Thanks a lot for saying that! :)) I know what you mean, I'm also not a fan of the sterile look. Maybe it's because Koreans don't spend thaaaat much time at home and also don't visit each other so much? So making your home cozy is maybe not so important. Instead people meet at cafes, go to study cafes, and hang out at other places. (Of course not now ^^;). There also aren't many interior shops here, except H&M home and Zara home and Muji.
      Ah a big sink for kimchi, that makes sense!
      Thanks for watching and have a nice day! :))

  • @franleon8722
    @franleon8722 3 роки тому +5

    you need a large slidable cutting board that could go over the sink to give you extra space

  • @Naelglrm
    @Naelglrm 3 роки тому +6

    if i remember the massive sinks are made so that you can put a chopping board on it, and get rid of the useless food you just cut, right into the sink (so into its food filter), or for the dish drying stuff

    That string can catch fire on the oven. You should replace it with a metal wire instead. but that might not be such a good idea either.

    Wow, das ist einer der schönsten Ausblicke, die ich bei solchen apartment tours gesehen habe! Darf ich fragen was du beruflich machst in Korea? :) Ich hab unter deinen anderen Videos geschaut und konnte nichts auf die schnelle finden, aber ich bin auch froh, wenn du mir ein Video sagst in dem du das behandelt hast. Ansonsten wäre es auch eine gute Idee für ein Video haha :D Übrigens ist es cool mal auf deutsch zu kommentieren :D Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland!!

Ich arbeite hier als Grafik-Design Freelancer, bisher allerdings hauptsächlich für deutsche Kunden. Seit letztem Herbst lerne ich wieder Koreanisch, damit ich in Zukunft auch für koreanische Kunden arbeiten kann, mit Englisch kommt man hier eher nicht sooo weit 😅. Wünsche Dir einen schönen Tag und liebe Grüße aus Seoul 🤗

    Wow, heated floors. It would be awesome to have that during Chicago winters. Love the "Safety Mechanism" for the oven door, lol. Yeah, our apartment also has almost not counter space to chop, slice and dice fruit. Love that leather handle on the drawer. Hahaha, asian toilets are really hi-tech and wished we adopted the use of then more in North America. Really nice cozy apartment and thanks for the tour!

    Oh man, ich erinnere mich noch, dass ich deinen Channel über einen anderen gefunden hatte (war es Christy Ann Jones?), aber seitdem habe ich noch nicht bei dir kommentiert.... Das muss ich jetzt mal dringend nachholen! :) Zuerst einmal alles Gute nachträglich! 🎉 Ich liebe Room/Apartment Touren und ich finde besonders euer Wohnzimmer sehr schön eingerichtet. 😊 Der Tisch und die Stühle mit den kleinen Flaggen sind total süß. 🇩🇪 Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, aber für mich und meine Höhenangst wäre das eine große Herausforderung. :') Und das Bad ist ja echt top für koreanische Standards, eher wie ein japanisches. 👍 Besonders neidisch bin ich immer auf Klimaanlagen (Dachgeschosswohnung und der Sommer letztes Jahr in Deutschland, says it all 😂). Ich hoffe, die Hitze ist erträglich bei euch, hier in Mitteldeutschland geht es tatsächlich dieses Jahr noch. Grüße aus Deutschland 👋

    • @Victoria_Lee
      @Victoria_Lee  4 роки тому +5

      Hi Alina! Erstmal ganz vielen lieben Dank für deinen süßen Kommentar und die Glückwünsche! 😊Das freut mich zu hören! Ehrlich gesagt habe ich lange mit der Apartmenttour gehadert, als Deutscher ist man da ja eher privat, aber nach einem ordentlichen Pep talk von einer guten Freundin habe ich mich am Riemen gerissen. Haha ja das kann ich mir vorstellen, die Eingangstür der Wohnung erreicht man über einen Balkon, der sich über die ganze Etage erstreckt und als wir hier eingezogen sind war mir auch immer ganz schön mulmig bei der Aussicht, aber mit der Zeit gewöhnt man sich dran ;) Ja stimmt, in Japan sind diese komplett-Plastik Badezimmer sehr gängig. Ohje, Sommer in einer Dachgeschosswohnung, been there, done that 🥵 Hier hat letzte Woche der Monsoon angefangen, dh es ist oberschwül die ganze Zeit und regnet viel (achwas), aber zum Glück noch nicht so heiß mit Temperaturen um die 29°. Ganz liebe Grüße aus Seoul zurück! 🤗

      I was a former real estate broker.
      Korea has a very high population density,
      and especially in the metropolitan area, apartments, etc., cannot accommodate many people unless they have a housing structure.
      And recently, real estate prices in Seoul have skyrocketed.
      If you want to buy a house, satellite cities in Seoul will have more choices in your budget.

      Hi! It's around 1.600.000₩/month (1.4k us$) if you put down 20.000.000₩ key money (18k us$). The more key money you put down, the cheaper the rent gets, so for example if you can put down 200.000.000₩ (180k us$) then you would "only" pay 600.000₩ (550 us$) per month.

      Hi! It's between the bathroom and living room, but it's also my partner's room and he wasn't very keen on me filming there ^^;
