I remember throwing hay bales on the trailer in the field and then stacking them in the barn , starting around 11 years old. Hard work, but good memories. Not sure how many girls did that, but I sure did. 👧
Cody I’m definitely glad that you have a brain enough to not hold the dip stick upside down!!! That is one thing that just drives me nuts when I see people holding the dip sticks upside down and then it takes them 2 or 3 minutes just to read it!!! By that time the oil has ran up the stick giving a person a false reading!!!! Every time I see someone holding the stick upside down I will ask them what it is reading and then after a few minutes later I’ll ask them again and be like why isn’t it the same what you said the first time??? Lol!! I think that is one of the biggest things I absolutely hate seeing others do for sure!!!! Good job Cody and definitely another adda boy for teaching your boy how to do it right also!!!!
In this situation being proud of your son. It's great showing pride is a great thing. It hard to meet your fathers expectations. Trust me i am 54 and my sweet dad still want to tell me how to do things.
Found your channel by accident today and it is ironic that you talked about round vs square bales as I was just talking to my son earlier today about hauling hay as a kid to maKe money in the summer. Not too many farmers left in our area that still square bale. Most have went to round as they say its hard to find kids willing to work. There was one guy I always liked working for. No matter the size of the field we went to, when we asked how many bales he would always say "ohhh i dont know for sure, maybe between 1000 or 1200" with a grin. It was always over 3000+ lol. Mowing yards and hauling hay all day, then fishing or swiming that evening..... what a life for a teenage boy!!!
In the kindest, most respectful way, you must have had one good looking tractor cause your wife looks younger than you! Haha. Either that or she loves the mustache! 😂 I swear I thought she was your daughter at first.
I get what you are saying about being proud to see your children use what you have taught them. Especially when they do it right and you know they was paying attention to what you taught/showed them. Most of us started at some point as a young kid. I was riding with my Daddy when I was not even old enough to drive the tractor but that is how we start to learn.
Looks like you dropped some weight there Cody, looking good brother, really enjoy y’all’s videos and appreciate the time and effort you put in to get this content out to us! Y’all keep RANCHIN!!
OMG yall just reminded me that there is more to life. I thought all we would ever see of yall was 10 sec TikTok. This is great!!! I'm wont be getting nothing done today... This about to be my longest 10 min break!!!
I have to commend you both as great parents! It is awesome that you give Clancy the room (with a little guidance/correction at times) to find his confidence and figure out how it will work for him. He will have more respect, admiration and be more open to guidance by you doing it that way instead of yelling or pushing him out of the way to do it yourself. Yes, everyone always wants people to do things their way but that way does not allow a person to grow into the person they should be. Clancy knows that you will always be there if he has questions or needs help. Keep doing GODS work and raising your children the way you are. May GOD continue blessing your family. KEEP RANCHING!
I’m love all your videos and look forward to seeing them, so, YES, lake time videos would be nice, unless you want to take a break and spend time with family, I understand that too😎☀️👙🏖️ have a great and relaxing time
Well said Cody Clancy will have a great skill set how ever his path unfolds in life. They live and learn and we have to trust 🙌🏻 and leave God with the rest. 🙏🏻
Me and my dad bulgur one of the Milwaukee fuel wrenches when we redone the head gaskets on my pickup up it was the best thing for that job we took the whole truck apart on 2 batteries. Love your videos
I've been keepin quiet, but Cody! My goodness youre lookin good! You have lost so much weight and give me motivation to do the same! Good job! Any tips? God bless y'all!
You pretty much have to be a Jack of all trades when your a farmer don’t ya. Speaking from a retired potato farmers wife. Luv your videos! Them roosters need to behave themselves ☹️
Cody I highly doubt the pump or filter is the problem with the 3 point lift since the front loader works fine. It runs off the same pump as 3 point. Most likely there is a lift control knob or lever that needs to be adjusted on the tractor. On my tractor it is located right behind the seat. I've had to adjust it a few times in the past when it's been awhile since I used it to lift a heavy load with the 3 point. I think vibration causes the knob or lever to move a little. I'm like you, when moving hay I like to stab the back bale first for counter weight so the tractor handles the weight much better.
Round bales lose some to rot on the outside layer of each bale. But a lot of current farmers say the convenience of round bales out way what is lost. The old timers didn't believe in round bales as much and still square baled..... which I am thankful because that how I made money as a kid 😅😅
Will u please share where y’all got that radio? I have several of those tractors. I rake with one and wish I had a radio. We are wide open in the hay field at the moment.
A friend of mine at school said he was not going to be in class for the next couple of days since they were harvesting their corn. The next day, he was in class. I asked about harvesting. He said the radio on his dad's tractor was broken, so they had to get it fixed first. I thought that was strange. Fast forward a year, and I worked for a guy who had a 20-acre field I had to cut. After 2 hours and only 1/4 on the way done, I knew why my friend's dad didn't harvest without a radio. 😂
You Sir and your LOVELY wife are very beautiful people. Your family values and service too are Lord Jesus Christ makes you guys in my opinion are great role models! Your daughter along with that young man that is becoming a responsible man! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Gilbert Alicea NYC
I was always wondering about your trip to Niagara Falls never saw a video on that. I was always wondering what happened to the vegetables that you grow in those pots never saw a video on that there’s videos on there could you let me know so I can watch it every time I watch something there’s never an ending.
Yep I was riding horse back working cattle at 11. Branding calves, cutting nuts, vaccinating, you name it. Some folks have silver spoons and others teach their kids to work and how to be dependable can’t say the same for everyone else.
@@ProdZG my brother just loved farming and worked planting and harvesting for some family "friends". He wanted his own farm or to be a co-owner of the farm (he was also a great mechanic, and could work on practically anything from cars trucks buses combines (sp?). He started working as a mechanic at 14 and a farm hand at 16. Went to Vietnam and came back and practically ran the farm and when he wanted to settle down and get married the 'family friend" would not even give him benefits such as just basic health insurance. He left to benefit his family and became a full-time mechanic. Funny thing was that family got into a bind and begged him to come back and work for them, he said no hard feelings but he had moved on and was not available. That farm folded 6 months later (after being around for 75 years) But truth be told had they treated him fairly he would have stayed and possibly kept the farm going for years...
You need to catch up with the times! Now days people play their favorite saved music through their cell phones & WiFi it to Ear Buds in their ears. And you don't have fight with a radio.
Get rid of the roosters unless you plan on fertilizing eggs! They are mean to your hens and everyone else😂 Fertilized eggs taste different than just an egg that comes from only a hen.
Why did you cut the wire when the wire was working? The saying is if it’s not broke don’t fix it ,now it’s dark out and you’re still working on the radio , it made no sense
Apparently nobody’s heard of Bluetooth + noise canceling headphones all driven by the phone in your pocket for open station equipment 🤦🏻♂️ if your operating without hearing protection which I can only assume if your trying to listen to that radio you’re going to regret that in the future.
I just found y’all’s UA-cam channel and I got to say, I love yall like my southern mamas cookin!! 🥰
I love your wife's introduce. ❤
You are a blessed man don't take it for granted.
Y’all are raising Chancy right! I love seeing him being so interested in learning everything! He is an inspiration to other kids!!!
At least he put the oil back and not just sent it in some random place.
Great kid and is learning well.
Cody dancing once the radio got reception had me rolling!! Big man got moves!

See I knew you’d love it!
In the areas where you were not able to bale, would you be able to mow/cut them with a different piece of equipment? Maybe a brush hog?w
