Taking it back better than what you received is awesome and you will be blessed for you kindness.
You're right Cody about returning a borrowed item in better condition.
I've had a few things that I've borrowed and had to either cleanup or do some maintenance before I could even use it.
Praying a successful outcome on the grass planting
1Cor 3:6
You've prepared the ground and planted
God will supply the rest.
Keep Ranchin
I'm with you. Get a hay field as smooth as possible in the beginning. You will be glad you did every pass you make afterwards!
We drag existing hay fields every winter to level out gopher mounds and ant hills.
I'd hate to run a cutter through your fields with all those rocks. I guess you just run it high.
My Dad raised my brother and I to return anything borrowed back in better condition than when you borrowed it. If’n it breaks you replace it with something as good or better. We were raised to be “your own man, able to do it yourself and always help others when asked or called on.
“We’re farming” awesome!$! Braces is part of life, you’ll be fine, take care.
Yep. I'm not the only idiot planting grass in a country wide record breaking drought.
My first wheat harvest was last June. 🤣🤣🤣 oh man. I'm rich with a whopping 11 bushels an acre 🤣🤣🤣 the feild is capable of producing 40 bushels an acre.
The grain bins in town and I tested the soil this fall. In 4 years they want to see 65 bushels an acre if we get rain.
I haven't had anything over an inch in 2 years!
I'm lucky to get 3/10th of an inch per month.
I had enough grass built up this summer. If it doesn't rain by the end of May. I'll be selling out this fall.
Tell Cody I'm sprigin 30 acres too!😅 I'm so f**ked
God’s Grace ❤be with you always and that beautiful Aussie
You are a good man Cody
Interesting video on planting sprigs I've never seen that done before. And "yes" if u borrow something u always bring it back in better shape than when you got it
Funny thing I don't lots of sprigging over the years but that is first time I have seen them put the sprigs in a bale. We normally dig the sprigs and put them on a trailer and use a skid steer with grapple bucket to pick them up and put in the sprigger. Back in the old days they would dig sprigs on a 4 wheel trailer and someone would pitch fork them in the sprigger. Lots of hard work sprigging grass.
I remember getting braces as a kid They were extremely painful the 1st few weeks and every time were adjusted.
The braces look good, they hurt for they first couple of days and then he should be good! I have had mine for 2 years are should be getting them off soon! Love watching y’all❤️❤️❤️
Braces sure suck the fun out of life!! Lol. My kids didn’t enjoy them too much, but they worked. 👍
Great video Cody! Watching from East Tennessee enjoying the ranch life through your eyes!
I’m a city boy but I love your videos and shorts. Great humor as well😂 keep em coming🎉
100% better than it was before I borrowed it,I might need it in the future
Another very interesting video Thank you
Keep ranchin' amigo.
If i borrow i always return in better condition. I borrowed a 4 wheeler once from a buddy. Returned it to him with new plg, oil change, oil filter and tire rotation.
Awww gonna be rich handsome and have manners amen praise God
How are the sprigs doing? A follow up video would be great!
And like you say Brother I don't like to barrow anything especially another man's tool's but if I do I treat them as if tha was mine just like when I drive someone's car I drive it like I'm paying the payment and put gas in it but I try be the most respectful person when it comes to borrowing anything and be responsible with what I tell them and if I'm not going make that day ill call u day before. Just way I was raised in this mtns of N.C I call home 🏡 God sure Blessed me I'm 38 and work for my self landscaping and mowing and raising a son on my own who turns 14 on st Patrick's day! 🍀
Nice grill,,kiddo,keep on ranchen.
Everybody I've met that uses it says that saying differently.
"Good enough for the girls I date."
"Good enough for the girls we work for"
"Good enough for government work"
Also I came to 11.6 acres/hr but I did it the easy way.. if your going 6mph then you just multiply the 6 miles you would travel in an hour (31,680ft) by the width of the harrow (16ft) to get 506,880sqft. You divide that by the square feet in an acre (43,560) to get the total of 11.6363636364 acres covered in 1hr.
thank you for sharing razor from coleman texas !
We live in farm country legit. Great to see the inside info. I’m always guessing on the process they’re doing in the field next to me. Great job on the braces… your momma is the best ❤😊❤
Interesting video Cody & Erica!
I know you asked the ranchers the question about borrowing tools etc., but I was curious if there are any tool rental places around that one could rent the seldom used tools and equipment? It seems like that would be a lucrative business in an area like yours. Love the channel, love the videos!!
Very cool ,I've done a lot of farming but that's knew to me but I think I've seen sod farms use something like that and yeah a good old cultipacker does a great job . I've always used one before planting corn and beans ,makes a great seedbed
Erica keep collecting them hearts ❤I have a heart collection specifically rocks 🎉😂❤😊😮
Thought that was a Coors hat with that logo on it!!😂
I had braces for a few years. They hurt the first couple days after you get them and a few days after they adjust them. Other than that not to bad, If they don’t give yall a water pick I would highly recommend one it makes it super helpful to get behind and In between everything.
You might have the odd rock there!! Lol
Everytime I borrow something I'm guaranteed it'll break and I'll have to fix it !!
Great information
My Son is Stikler about Possessing his own Equipment,,, When we Ceassed row cropping Cotton and Peanuts and Sprigged all our open land in Hybrid Coastal;; When we finished we sold the digger and sprigger..... only to buy again 5 yeqrs later....

Looking like some great farming for yall - I'm from west of Weatherford Texas area ..an absolutely I bring it back in great condition
Keep ranching ❤
I had braces but my stubborn behind ate things I shouldn’t and broke brackets and all that stuff wish I took good care of them more I mean teeth ain’t bad now but wish I took care of em better when I had the braces
I was always raised if somebody was kind enough to let you borrow it and you are mechanically inclined enough. You should always return it better than you got it.
I hate to borrow things( which I rarely do) but when I do, I will patch things up if it needs them or clean them up. It's the least I can do. I will tell them also, if I break it, I'll will replace it.
I just found y'all and I like what y'all go keep up the good work .
Always return in better shape than it was when I borrowed it. But I truly hate borrowing things from people.
7018 from Hobart will run that right in. Ac or Dc on straight polarity
Why you little spriger..i learned something new again.
May your Bermuda sprigs sprout!
Another very interesting video.
Thanks for the new word - hooder-dooter. It takes as long as it takes! Seriously, I am interested in hearing your equation to figure out how long it would take to harrow the 30 acres. Fun video! Good luck growing the bermuda!
We get rain but wind blows it away 🐎
A good Ford 552 blae ya some nice 5x5s..and praying u get rain. And warm ground..and u missed a spot down on that far corner where that little white rock was lol
Also don't chomp on ice cubes!!!
Trust me on this!!!😂
Borrowed a pressure washer from a friend one time. The pump went out after about half an hour. I took it and had it fixed. From that point on I try never to borrow anything. I don't mind paying to rent tools that I might never need again.
An alts an alt as Jethro Bodine said . Good math problem . God Bless !!!
Not the biggest fan of straight bermuda(that being said I have places that are) here in east central Oklahoma the growing season starts late and ends early. I prefer a mix of crab grass, fescue, an clover.
6011 is the best rod for dirty metal, it's all I use.
Got an update on how this sprigged field did this summer...especially with the hot and dry conditions?
We sprig grass in moultre ga
I really enjoy your videos.
I raise haired sheep in Castroville TX.
We're are y'all at?
Need my fields to look good again like yours do...
Any plans for irrigation?
I hate to borrow anything! And yes, return it better than it was when you borrowed it. I have been beating that into my boys heads for a while since they have there own places now.
I'm still waiting for the answer to your math question lol
I can tell they don't own the sprigger pulling it at that speed. I never pull my that fast.
How do they do this in a rockier area? I’m about an hour and a half and there’s a lot of rock so I’m wondering if this isn’t why I haven’t seen it.
So a groove in the ground is a furrow?
I've got some extra rocks if you don't have enough for your coastal field. Lol
I hate borrowing stuff and try not too ever do it but if I do I try to return it better than I got it but I really try not to borrow stuff
So when you hire someone to come sprig do they disc the field or is that up to the land owner? I have a field about the same size i would like to do something similar with!
I bring it back new. I have guys that borrow my trucks and never put fuel in them.
That’s a Bermuda King sprigger manufactured in Ringwood Oklahoma by a Mennonite family. The owner of Bermuda King Dean Reimer was unfortunately killed recently in a farming accident.
So how much do you think you have invested per acre for sprigging?
Where did you get your sprigs?
Funny, I go to the orthodontist today and I’m 58 lol
11.63 acres an hour.
9.6👍
Are Clancy’s knives available for purchase anywhere?
Bring it back better!
I hate borrowing stuff because it always breaks when I do and I pay to fix it.
How do you get a -7 cap do yall sell them 🤔
If you roll it again you might push some rocks back down
What a good price for 100 acres with water supply to lease to a rancher that has cattle for grazing? Keep Ranching!
2.4
I hate to barrow things and if I do it's returned as good as are better than it was.
11.637 Acres per hour.

Have you ever tried any 007 world feeder ?
Why don’t you clean up some of that white stone. That has to be ruff on anything you use on those fields.
When I borrow something I don’t bring it back.lol
I take care of my stuff. But I take care of other peoples stuff better than my own
