I have to say, I really do not think glaives are the way to go. At low levels before selecting weapon specific feats, sure, but +1 hit and damage from the tome (strictly speaking, I do not believe this stacks with weapon training, but this archetype doesnt get weapon training) is not enough to compensate for a terrible threat range, when you could be using falchions or fauchards instead. Critting 3 times as often must surely be the better option, particularly when considering outflank, but also the fact that you get mythic critical and weapon mastery, reducing the relative value of a base x3 multiplier. If, as you invariably do, you use a skald merc, you get another bonus to multiplier and with the trickster mythic path you are using, another still. So we are comparing a 15-20 threat range and x7 multiplier with the inevitable excess belt of perfection and factoring knowledge rank 2, to a 11-20 threat range with a x6 multiplier under the same circumstances. Another way of looking at it is that for every 20 attacks, you are an additional 36 attacks worth of damage using glaives vs and extra 50 attacks worth of damage using falchions or fauchards, or 56 vs 70 damage ratio in total, which is 25% more damage for the 18-20 base threat range, and this is before allowing for overkill wasting damage (the difference between x6 and x7 damage will usually be irrelevant - the target is very likely dead either way), smoother damage and triggering on crit effects like outflank significantly more often. And if you consider another mythic path without skald, you are comparing 14-20 threat range with a x4 multiplier to a 18-20 threat range with a x5 multiplier, which is effectively 21 extra attacks per 20 attacks vs 12, or a damage ratio of 41 to 32, which is a 28% more damage for the high threat range weapon, in addition to all the over already mentioned benefits. And at very low levels, just use a single two hander with cleaving finish. If hitting is that much of an issue, you would be better off going for high AB mythic paths like demon, azata or aeon and taking a big base threat range than going trickster with a crappy base threat range.
I won't deny that to be fair, I do still prefer high crit range weapons. It's just that I was getting rather tired of Gravesinger/Falchion/Fauchard etc haha. When I first did this character I went with Fauchards, but I wanted to give Glaives some love as there's a lot of powerful ones in game. But yes, from a power gaming perspective Fauchards would be better what with higher crit range and still the Reach bonus. The attack penalty isn't much of an issue with a Skald merc starting from level 7 or so, same for a Cleric ally like Sosiel, it's mostly annoying in the very early game.
@@cRPGBrowhat about dw elven curved blades? They dont have reach, but they have bane of living... And as fighter have many extra feats, you can squeeze exotic weapons feat.
An idea I’ve been considering is a TF dipped sword saint, focusing in Bardiche and maxing int so as to get spell combat with deaths consonant,, likely as azata so as to get zippy magic force punches etc. Trickster would likely be better for higher crits, but I like the idea of cleaving magic smacks knocking mobs away with maximized dmg and perfect crit on lol An issue is you lose the capstone weapon mastery for bigger crits :(
I’ve lately been doing 2 level dips into titan fighter with some builds to give lots of proficiencies and ability to 1 hand large weapons. Sosiel for example I made 2TF/18 Cleric to dual wield fauchards, so he gets reach and both weapons at 15-20 crit range
i was thinking about your build Gendarme/Mutated warrior, to change this to gendarme/Titan fighter. The different damage addition and damage multiplication could do amazing hits with charge and dual longspear if it's possible. And with an Inciter mercenary
It can be fun it's just that this character isn't really stacking skills and it's so easy to increase Athletics to enormous amounts! The extra Holy damage at least can come in handy for a full prebuff.
It's a lot of fun, and even unfair capable considering you can choose subclass with wolf pet, wich will carry early game for you (with Cam and her hexes). Later goes pretty unique early game. You can for example combine sleep+color spray to disable a pack with some immune to speel enemies, or make hideous laughter AoE at level 4 already. There are some feats and gear to help you at the start, from new ones I mean. But this class takes some time to get used to. And you don't really need build, just go all in Cha and DC. It goes with Aeon (incredible DC boosts), Demon (like with succubus build), and trickster because of Coup de Grace from persuasion trick (and you have the best persuasion checks wuth this class) and domains, with subclass about making sort of new religion it's just so many domain powers to 20 lvl without wasting general mythic abilities on it.
I just went fauchard + shield at early levels. At level 7 with outflank improved twf and mythic twf it's much much better to start dual wielding. I am going Angel to Legend so will probably go Sohei afterwards for the weapon training and flurries with fauchards. Should be great
Quick question. If we dip into Titan Fighter, does that mean that when we switch back to our sword saint, we can have two-handed weapon spell combat? That is hilarious 😂😂 Imagine Eldritch Scion Lich with a schyte, specializing in melee touch necro spells :D
Chainmail of comradery counts as light armor for mythic armor feats since it's mithril. I've also found that heavy/medium assault damage doesn't bypass any type of DR/, unless that was just updated
@@XEProteus maybe, haven't tried it yet. But he's recommending it in the beginning of the game instead of mythic 8, and makes no mention of DR/ being an issue, which makes me think he just respeced an endgame mc for the build, other than making sure he could get through the shield maze to start
I recommend it at level 8 because Bane of Spirit will change all damage to irresistible Force type and can be acquired at around level 10 for enemies with DR. There's also level 8 footage at 00:19
What do you think of this build using Grave Singer and Gore Feaster together? With a dip into Barbarian at level 2 and Limitless Rage at Mythic 1 so I can go Legend later.
I dont think mithral actually works with the armour feats of the armour type, but rather that armours feat of the lower tier of armour. So chainmail of comradery would work with light armour feats.
I like earth breaker better for titan fighter. Less reach but better damage and divine dismissal with either terrifying tremble or clawfall is a good finishing pair plus there are lots of other options for earlier points in the game. Greater dispel at character level is really good for a martial character (even better if going legend).
Thanks for the video. I don't really find titan fighter that interesting and as legend i would rather try out sable company marine+ gendarme combo. I wonder if it actually applies long spear/charge feats into gryphon specific charge. And if that's true, that'll be hella fun
@@cRPGBro Even modefiers or buffs, BG3 items are boring and very situational. Isnt the Incredible Heft feat just weapon training but better as it applies to ALL two handed weapons? You don't technically lose weapon training, you just get a better version of it.
The most interesting class is Magic Deceiver. Do not leave it for last! I am really looking forward to that guide. (No offense, but the TFighter is really just a warrior, and the build is 95% a copy-paste of any martial.) I play an Azata Magic Deceiver now, and it is really overpowered and funny at the same time (in Unfair difficulty). You can overcome most immunities with it (though I have not figured out all the rules yet, but for example, Slow/Phantasmal kills most undead).
as long as the enemy isn't immune to BOTH spells, it'll work. Also it removes a lot of requirements, like hold person will work on monsters as well, you won't need hold monster.
@@acrab6527 Yes, I found this out in the meantime and there are some spells are 100% go in, like explosive runes, no resistance, no save, it can carry a baneful poly, or PK. Tough for most enemy slow or chain lightning is good enough to carry that disable spell.
@@kiratt77 If you have chain lightning there's no point in crowd control. You can pretty easily do 90d6+ damage with chain lightning+disintegration. And it disintegrates mythic enemies so they don't get up and make you fight them twice. this one shot everything in the room or left them at 5% hp. Then I got Zippy magic and it was a 100% room clear every cast. Then for tier 5 spells I had fireball+ phantasmal killer for a weird that does damage if it fails Then tier 3 was fireball (10d6)+ lightning bolt 10d6) + elemental barrage (10d6.) for 1.5 chain lightnings from a 3rd level spell.
@@acrab6527 baleful poly also works for me, it kills most srcipted bosses for some reason (like the other), not needed a 2nd phase. quite some mobs and all bosses survived CL+DIS for me, tough indeed most of the dies.
I still think it's bit of BS that they didn't add Titan Mauler Barbarian while at it. Like, they already made the mechanic a thing in the game, why not introduce both of the main archetypes that use it?
Was it ever confirmed that one level of titan fighter lets magus use a two handed weapon with a spell? Or for that matter, is a Tower shield you bash with considered a two handed weapon?
How this would change to be a hireling (companion)? As can have only one main charracter, we need thease builds for companion point of view aswell. I havent seen that aspect in any of build videos and I think it is needed. Maybe a part on how this works as a companion?
It can still work for a companion, so long as the main character goes Trickster (as they'll also qualify for the Trickster special feats). If going other Mythic for MC, the main difference is less crit range/damage, so I'd recommend Fauchards instead to make up for less crits chance, while keeping Reach. Another difference is that you'd have a few less Stats as I imagine some bonuses like the +4 Tome to All Stats, +2 Elixir to All Stats, wouldn't be spend on a companion 😅
@@cRPGBro awesome. I appriciate the answer! I understand why this build is trickster, but it would've been somewhat more thematic as demon since in the original tabletop campaign, the corrupted Herald dual wields glaives when you face him.
Hello man....Great content, but there is an issue with the Trickster that you forgot to address...In order to get the bonuses on your items from the Tricksters Mythic Path (Knowledge Arcana 1, 2 and 3) the trickster must be the one in the party that identifies magical items. So you have to invest heavily in Knowledge Arcana to do so. Selecting Scholar - Arcane in your background options will help a lot. Hope to have helped in some way. Keeep the good work.
Could we mayhaps get a weretouched build pretty please?????? I like your builds and feel incompetent to make a good enough build for the highest difficulty.
But Mythic Armor Focus - Medium Armor Assault dont bypass enemy DR even with Covenant of the Inheritor. At least before patch it was bullshit feat. They fixed it?
2h+shield is possible. It's also one of the possible ways to try to mitigate the penalty in the early game (as you only take the penalty from one-handing a twohander, rather than the -4 penalty of offhanding a non-light weapon). Although it's kinda questionable since if you're using a reach weapon then you're not even frontlining, and since 2-handers aren't that much better than 1-handers, why take the -2 penalty and just use regular sword and board instead? But if optimately isn't your concern then sure why not.
God I hate the fact that trickster is the ultimate mythic for martial classes. Its too good to pass with this buffs, but the story-wise its terrible...
Ideally Pet classes because it's more of a low power adventure as opposed to all the Mythic Stuff in Main Campaign, and pets will really help increase your power, especially for the 1st part where you start at level 1 with barely any good gear! Especially one with a Leopard because it's the strongest early pet, but you can get a mercenary or multi class a companion for that. Strongest MC is probably Dual Cursed Oracle, the main passive of making enemies auto 20 rolls fumble is really amazing!

It is sad how titan fighter cant compete against mutation warrior or even two hander fighter. That minuses to hit are ultra crippling especially on unfair but great dip for casters xD
Frankly, Demon is also strong, so is Aeon but it's really hard to compare with Trickster what with all the permanent passives and party bonuses. But they, Skald Inciter will go Azata (although I'd also prefer Trickster 😅)
@@cRPGBro Hey bro can you help me? I am planing to do evil playthrough. Play it as Diablo 4 basicaly...as arpg. I don't care about companions theybare just for roleplay. What are the mos brutal skills or spels?
I was trying to make a deceiver trickster, cause I just think deceiver fits trickster more, and while it was solid, Azata deceiver is kinda just better unfortunately.
Titan Fighter is best used as a dip for casters imho, for dual-wielding staves. 1 caster level for additional damage dices, more DC, higher CL and some additional effects are really good and worth every single penny. BUT other than that I think Titan Fighter offers very little to most builds yes dual-wielding Fauchards or better yet, Dwarven Urgroshes for 4x attacks and slap a Vampiric Blade on top of that sounds really good ON PAPER maybe sprinkle in some sneak attacks too is really powerful BUT unless you go Legend, why bother with such a feat-intensive build? WOTR is the hardest in the early parts the moment you actually got the feats to pull it off (level 10 or so) with your Mythic Powers I think the game is already beaten or so and dual-wielding Two-handed weapons seem like overkill to me. Also the dip will cost you a LOT in the early game so yeah unless it is sth really powerful like Demonslayer Ranger, Seeker Oracle or Witch of the Veil who really don't need many things to steamroll the game on Unfair... Taking Titan Fighter dip isn't really worth it.
I agree. I can see titan fighter being useful only as caster dip for casters for higher DC and and as legend mythic path. Actually idea with 2 dwarven urgroshes sounds pretty fun, however it's not supposed to work because it says in the description that you titan fighting feat doesn't include double edge weapons
I explain how to play it during early game at 02:33 AC is completely unnecessary on build that stacks Reach from multiple sources: Glaives + Lunge + Enlarge Person/Legendary Proportions
@@cRPGBro I saw it. I laughed. How can I beat the demons of magic with this build? Oh, they'll incinerate me because of the touch protection class. On the last difficulty, if the enemy hits, you are dead.

While the enemy AI does tend to try and beeline your KC, there are many ways to prevent this from happening.
I went originally with earth breakers, just for fun looks, and cause it is least popular choice. But now im thinking to respec to falchions.
@@cRPGBrowhat about dw elven curved blades? They dont have reach, but they have bane of living... And as fighter have many extra feats, you can squeeze exotic weapons feat.
Wooooo!!!!! Thank you!!!
Have fun, friend!
An idea I’ve been considering is a TF dipped sword saint, focusing in Bardiche and maxing int so as to get spell combat with deaths consonant,, likely as azata so as to get zippy magic force punches etc.
Trickster would likely be better for higher crits, but I like the idea of cleaving magic smacks knocking mobs away with maximized dmg and perfect crit on lol
An issue is you lose the capstone weapon mastery for bigger crits :(
I've been waiting for this
I’ve lately been doing 2 level dips into titan fighter with some builds to give lots of proficiencies and ability to 1 hand large weapons. Sosiel for example I made 2TF/18 Cleric to dual wield fauchards, so he gets reach and both weapons at 15-20 crit range
It's a nice use of it indeed!
Good call. It really seems like a class with some strong multiclass value but just feels very, very boring for a pure class build.
Don’t you get me back into wotr damn it I’m trying to get through bg3 and now you doing even more builds in this
No worries, both are amazing games and the need to reroll is always strong!
@@cRPGBro they are both so fun
i was thinking about your build Gendarme/Mutated warrior, to change this to gendarme/Titan fighter. The different damage addition and damage multiplication could do amazing hits with charge and dual longspear if it's possible. And with an Inciter mercenary
Creative approach is probably the best ascension for a trickster that isnt using close to the abyss. Its an extra +3 to saves with athletics rank 2.
It can be fun it's just that this character isn't really stacking skills and it's so easy to increase Athletics to enormous amounts!
The extra Holy damage at least can come in handy for a full prebuff.
I just started a lich titan fighter playthrough, going to see how much damage two Wide Sweeps can do
More builds... more!!!!
Gonna do this with azata. Duel weld great axes while riding a dragon
Sounds very fun and thematic!
Azata's Heroic Might also benefits from higher STR.
another great build, i need more wotr vids
I'd love to see your take on the new Arcanist subclass. Mixing spells does sound like fun.
There is no way to make that video. Magic Deceiver is essentially, "Build your own class" it can be anything except a melee.
Should be great
Nice to see this build, pity they nerfed the Grave Singer great axe though, just imagine what this could have been with the Titan Fighter.
Wouldn't Bracer's of Slaughter allow the damage from mythic medium armor assault to bypass all DR ?
Heck yeah!
Thanks
You're welcome, and thank you so much for the Super Thanks!
I think you know this game better than the developers.
Would this work with a demon path instead?
Do you plan to revisit older builds? There were some changes and I wonder how those would work now.
Thinking of it, especially for Ember as I tend to get questions about it a lot.
Thank you for your videos! What about demon titan fighter? Is it viable?
I dont think mithral actually works with the armour feats of the armour type, but rather that armours feat of the lower tier of armour. So chainmail of comradery would work with light armour feats.
I like earth breaker better for titan fighter. Less reach but better damage and divine dismissal with either terrifying tremble or clawfall is a good finishing pair plus there are lots of other options for earlier points in the game. Greater dispel at character level is really good for a martial character (even better if going legend).
It's a fun weapon type as well, and that special Earthbreaker is really good for Legend!
what is the best second class if we go with legend ? :)
what is best class combination for trickster + legend ? for survability and damage
Thanks for the video. I don't really find titan fighter that interesting and as legend i would rather try out sable company marine+ gendarme combo. I wonder if it actually applies long spear/charge feats into gryphon specific charge. And if that's true, that'll be hella fun
Really looking foward to the Sable Marine with uber Spear + Charge stuff!
i wish BG3 had this level power builds
Same! Or at least progression up to level 20.
@@cRPGBro
Even modefiers or buffs, BG3 items are boring and very situational.
Never get something like Aroden shield that i turned into a ring get +4 stacking all ability score and a choice of permanent end game buff. Winds of vengeance. Had me sonic running across the map so fast it made the missiles that target me bounce out of the way.
Titan fighter!!!!! Thx for build!!!!
You're welcome!
With a glaive and heavy shield, my tankers give me 40k Custode vibe.
Nice style indeed!
I want to equip with tower shield but the attack penalty is too great, especially in early game.
Isnt the Incredible Heft feat just weapon training but better as it applies to ALL two handed weapons? You don't technically lose weapon training, you just get a better version of it.
The most interesting class is Magic Deceiver. Do not leave it for last! I am really looking forward to that guide. (No offense, but the TFighter is really just a warrior, and the build is 95% a copy-paste of any martial.)
I play an Azata Magic Deceiver now, and it is really overpowered and funny at the same time (in Unfair difficulty). You can overcome most immunities with it (though I have not figured out all the rules yet, but for example, Slow/Phantasmal kills most undead).
as long as the enemy isn't immune to BOTH spells, it'll work. Also it removes a lot of requirements, like hold person will work on monsters as well, you won't need hold monster.
interesting
Then for tier 5 spells I had fireball+ phantasmal killer for a weird that does damage if it fails
Then tier 3 was fireball (10d6)+ lightning bolt 10d6) + elemental barrage (10d6.) for 1.5 chain lightnings from a 3rd level spell.
@@acrab6527 baleful poly also works for me, it kills most srcipted bosses for some reason (like the other), not needed a 2nd phase. quite some mobs and all bosses survived CL+DIS for me, tough indeed most of the dies.
Hell yes!
Enjoy 😀
Can you make a Dame Aylin build from BG3? Pathfinder have Aasimar unlike Baldurs Gate 3. Im guessing she is a Warpriest, Crusader or Paladin Angel.
YEAH i make a Legend like this ;D
I still think it's bit of BS that they didn't add Titan Mauler Barbarian while at it. Like, they already made the mechanic a thing in the game, why not introduce both of the main archetypes that use it?
That would be a nice addition indeed!
You should try sable company class they fixed spirited charge and now I'm getting flat footed double damage that can activate any point.
I really like Mounted Combat & the pet classes, so it's coming for sure!
Was it ever confirmed that one level of titan fighter lets magus use a two handed weapon with a spell? Or for that matter, is a Tower shield you bash with considered a two handed weapon?
Cool build, but when do we get whirlwind from WoW?
Sadly no Spin2Win build... yet!
Yeeee wotr finally!
My 2 current playthrough is Lich main charracter (lord of all magic, your build to be the main caster of the group) Thinking builds to give to companions and thease builds you are making is helping a lot.
-wenduag will be a manticore shifter, Camelia that new warpriest with the new blades, will take Daeran maybe as kinetist of some sort. Evil playthrough, but need front liners.. prefer to have some animal companions aswell. So checking your builds =)
Also need the ease of play, I hate pre-buffing, I like to react when something happens and deal with it when it happens not before =P nut no worry, womt ever play this game in unfair =P More interested in the story than mechanics. (I do love to try different builds though)
i love this
Thank you!
I understand why this build is trickster, but it would've been somewhat more thematic as demon since in the original tabletop campaign, the corrupted Herald dual wields glaives when you face him.
Frankly, Demon is quite strong and can also work.
I just hate the Demon Rage/uses limit early on.
Can you make Sister Friede from Dark Souls3 with this archetype? With Angel Myth.patch it will be awesome
work with shield and two handed and shield bash?
Hello man....Great content, but there is an issue with the Trickster that you forgot to address...In order to get the bonuses on your items from the Tricksters Mythic Path (Knowledge Arcana 1, 2 and 3) the trickster must be the one in the party that identifies magical items. So you have to invest heavily in Knowledge Arcana to do so. Selecting Scholar - Arcane in your background options will help a lot. Hope to have helped in some way. Keeep the good work.
Are you sure?
I swear they work just fine regardless of the Trickster themselves identifying the items.
Nope I just finished a trickster run recently and didn't have a single rank in knowledge arcana but could still get the bonus from arcana 1
Ive been testing out this build and Nenio is identifying all the items and its not activating the knowledge arcana 1 feat which kind of sucks
What do you think about making him into legend?
It's an amazing upgrade while keeping the Trickster special feats!
Could we mayhaps get a weretouched build pretty please?????? I like your builds and feel incompetent to make a good enough build for the highest difficulty.
It's been on my mind for a while!
Ideally Trickster > Legend.
But Mythic Armor Focus - Medium Armor Assault dont bypass enemy DR even with Covenant of the Inheritor. At least before patch it was bullshit feat. They fixed it?
It's what the Bane of Spirit is for!
is it only dual wield or is 2h + shield also possible ?
It's indeed that good!
would a caster with titan fighter dip work?
dual wielding staffs
Yep, ideally for the later levels after you already have max spells.
I have a question. Bests builds for Through the Ashes DLC]
@@cRPGBro Thank you!
Hey all, what would you guys reccomend for the second class if I took this build in the Legend Mythic path direction?
Ranger Demonslayer!
@@cRPGBro Thanks! Also thanks for the build videos. everytime I see one of your builds it makes me want to boot up a new game. Which becomes a problem when I have not even finished the playthrough before that :D.
Can you do a Sable Company Marine + Sohei Build? PLeeeeeaaaaasssseeeee
Can this archetype wield Regil?
Sadly, no.
But perhaps it's possible to dual wield Linzi & Nurah!
They didn’t add any new greatswords in anticipation of this archetype?
The devs don't really like greatswords.
@@duyas1628tbh there is already a good number of GS all along the game progression. Other types of weapons need some love too. No Wonder the gravesinger was the most optimal choice for most melee characters until the recent nerf
@@duyas1628 Disappointing.
@@nielsa1747 GS as a weapon type is pretty terrible in this game. Also, having to go Trickster to get the best one is no bueno.
Unfortunately, I don't think so.
Titan fighter seems like the best finisher for Legendary Gendarme/Sohei with two longspears. But leveling one from 0 on unfair? No thnx, i bet all scripted fights are utter cancer and Drezen a neverending nightmare. Also could be interesting with dual-wielding quaterstaff with master of staff dip.
Hi can someone share some good dps spell caster build please ? Thanks
How do I become a channel member 😭
Hi there!
There should be a button named "Join" close to my Channel Name, including when watching videos 😀
no glaves for Sosiel this time xd
Fear not, Glaives are quite the favored weapon in Wrath, there's plenty to spare!
It is sad how titan fighter cant compete against mutation warrior or even two hander fighter. That minuses to hit are ultra crippling especially on unfair but great dip for casters xD
Ahh...for the hundreth time...Trickster.
Any chance for a sable company marine build Mr. crpg bro?
Deciever azata please
I was trying to make a deceiver trickster, cause I just think deceiver fits trickster more, and while it was solid, Azata deceiver is kinda just better unfortunately.
Completely skip the mythic part in these videos. Trickster is so I'll fitting narratively that I'll never use it.
Yep, it's a great pick for dual wielding the new best Staff combo for the highest DC, especially once you already have max spells so level 17+
Jesus... Trickster mythic again as in every other video.
Goofy-ahh archetype.
Perfect for Trickster then 😅
It's just garbage. How would it work in the initial stages? And why is the armor class so small? 60 is serious at level 20.
I explain how to play it during early game at 02:33
AC is completely unnecessary on build that stacks Reach from multiple sources: Glaives + Lunge + Enlarge Person/Legendary Proportions
@@cRPGBro I saw it. I laughed. How can I beat the demons of magic with this build? Oh, they'll incinerate me because of the touch protection class. On the last difficulty, if the enemy hits, you are dead.
@@ИльяКоптюк-з3ж Considering you don't even know the name of "the last difficulty", perhaps you aren't in a position to be putting out such blanket statements about the quality of a build. If your point about low touch AC was accurate, than every KC build would require maximizing survivability, which is demonstrably false. While the enemy AI does tend to try and beeline your KC, there are many ways to prevent this from happening. In order to optimize a character as a 2nd row damage dealer, which is what this build is designed for, you have to sacrifice personal survivability. Considering that basic gameplay concepts like this are a sticking point for you, it may be wise to spend less time criticizing others and spend more time learning game mechanics and playing the game.
can i still go angel as a good aligment? i just want to be a god with this class T_T
