If you're looking to convert a van then I hope this video is helpful and provides you with the inspiration to build your own camper! If you're in the US or Canada then you'll know this van as a Dodge ProMaster.
The idea with this van build was to create a little cosy cabin theme, installing a wood burner in the van, solar panels and leisure batteries to ensure I could camp off grid and wild camp as much as possible, I travelled with this van through Eastern Europe in the middle of winter camping in Poland & the Czech republic, the wood burner from Glastonbury Wood Burners kept me extremely warm! The interior of the van was mainly made from pallet wood and tongue and groove.

love the idea of taking a larger van but getting a model thats a lower height vs getting a smaller make entirely. like low height ford transit over a ford transit custom/connect. havent seen ppl do that as much, pretty cool!

Nice van, I nearing the end of building my Ducato so same base van really, think mine is L3H2 so plenty of headroom. Get for widthways beds.

I like it. Considering a similar build myself (likely no wood burner and a bit lower in the main bed - hope to for a belle seat in the rear too).
How do you rate the general manouverability of the high top van compared to this one?
Great van build. Thinking of doing something similar. Can you tell me the height of the garage vs the height of the bed space? I saw you mentioned the whole internal height is 5ft5" but interested if you would have enough space to put in a fork mount for a bike in the garage, needing roughly 85cm height for the bike, if there is enough room for bed/living area on top? Such a tiny space, does the wood burner not give out too much heat?
This is only a 2kw burner, depending on the outside temperature it could but once you've learnt how to control the vent it worked nicely.
How high is the living area from floor to cieling?

106,000 miles and it sold for £14,200, now it would likely sell for more given demand.
@@Aboutavan £14000 ? Wow. i have just got an l1h1 but going to keep it stealth as its insured as a van so looking to insulate and install a diesel heater then use modular units for away days

Sorry Rhys I’ve only just seen this, I did this over a period of around 6 weeks but that wasn’t full days due to winter weather and early nights.
