Thank you Chandi and the whole team for bringing joy into my (our) life(ves) I found Expression Fiber art in March when Covid 19 started to suck in Vancouver Canada and since then every time I watch a video of Chandi I feel calmer instantly
I keep saying I'm going to stop adding more projects to my list. I think what I really need to do is just stitch faster. 😂 Another gorgeous pattern and I snapped up a yarn kit to do it... I chose the plum and berries to teals and blues, thinking "river after sundown"... You know, when there's still just a trace of sunset colors in the sky reflecting off the water? 😊 Looking forward to it!
I'm not a knitter but I didn't give this a thumbs down. It is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I only know the very basics of knitting and not how to cast off and finish etc. Maybe I should search and try sometime.

You will not be able to create one object if you never learn to cast off, right? 😳 You could try: Roxanne Richards and Knitting with Suzanne Bryan, both master knitters who enjoy helping others learn the craft and, both on UA-cam. Hi Dawnna, welcome back! From a quick glance the row repeats are all the same. So you can just repeat rows 1-12 until you've reached the shawl size you like and start the instructions for the Lace Border. I hope this makes sense. Have a lovely day! 💕
Beautiful pattern Chandi! Thanks so much for all of the patterns you so generously share with us! Glad to know Tim is doing well!😂. Have a wonderful weekend!💞
I know you have mentioned to block before you weave in loose ends. When you soak in water, do your loose ends come undone? Can't wait to make this one next.
Usually they don't but if you're worried you can weave in the ends first but not cut the tail and then block. This way if something comes loose you have tails left to fix. After that you can cut them short. I hope this helps. Have a great day! 💚
You are just so sweet Chandi, I lOVE listening to you, you have such elegance hewing us what to do. Thank you for gifting us another beautiful pattern. Oh Chandi, where is your butterfly ring?

Beautiful! I am an advanced beginner and want to try this pattern. Gauge is still very tricky for me. The needle size for this yarn on your website is 0-2. Why do you recommend a needle size 6? How much yarn would I need if I used a size 3 or 4? Thanks for your help.
Astrid, the needle suggestions are just that - suggestions. But you can use whatever size you prefer. You'll need the same amount of yarn as mentioned in the pattern if using a 3 or 4 but I would just use what the pattern suggests. :)
