Thank you for making this! The outcome is very pretty, and really easy to understand. I would like if you would make a tutorial on how to cast on, and what things I should buy as a knitter, including size of needle, type of needle, size and brands of string, extra accessories, etc. Anyways, this tutorial is very helpful!
I am making this with medium soft acrylic yarn and 9 Us size needle, and so far so good. I started at row 15 instead of 13 for the triangle cut patterns, still decreasing by 3. a very basic number chart jotted on paper keeps track for when to cast off and/or increase. And I put a safety pin on top of the row that needs to be increased, to keep track of that. Just a couple of tips.
Love this Shawl and the colorway. Have to give this a try. Ive never used Scarfie. Being that it's bulky should work up fast. Thanks so much for this pattern.
It took me a few reruns of this to get it. But it’s basically the same, but backwards, count-wise. When you’re ready to do the next half, the routine is to drop 6 stitches instead of 3, then knit increase 3 stitches instead of 6. Three-step Example: 1) after knitting an “add stitch” row ending with 84 stitches, do a drop (decrease) row for six stitches, so the end number is 78. 2) Do the “add stitch” row & reg knit row combo, until you have 81 stitches - 5 rows total. 3) do a the drop (decrease) row for six stitches, so you have 75 stitches. And so on… I know, the explaining is much wordier than the actual function.
This is my second pattern but not clearly written …. That 4 n 5 row repeat but in last repeat one row is bind off….. plus on video u have different stitch count n in written pattern if have written different stitch count kindly check ur stitch count as I got confused n had to rip my both projects …..previously I made a hat pattern that too bind off time I had more stitches on the needles then mentioned in written pattern …..
