A lovely ride along the River Clyde, Dumbarton my local when visiting Scotland, and the glimse of the Erskine Bridge when passing through Bowling, thanks for sharing your trip on these wonderful loco's!
I have not seen that view of Dalreoch tunnel since Sunday 6 November 1960. That was the day that BR (Sc) ran a free service to introduce the new trains to the public. I was fortunate to secure a front row seat in the then new Class 303 (AM3) emus '(popularly known as 'Blue Trains'). A memorable day. I got in two return journeys that day, but as a teenager I had a curfew (it was a schoolday the next day).

Brings it home how close together Dalreoch and Dumbarton Central are.
Here is the portuguese example of the class 20 in Portugal. The CP 1400: ua-cam.com/video/9waMDppso1k/v-deo.htmlsi=HgIvKqRqFW30nj17
Sad to see so much unnecessary single track
A reflection of modern times sadly.
