  • The LCD display in your Kia provides access to various systems within the vehicle, as well as allowing you to personalize key operations.
Let’s take a look at the LCD on the Instrument Cluster in select Kia vehicles:
LCD display modes can be changed by using the control buttons on the steering wheel:
Use the Mode button to change items…
Then use the up and down arrows to switch between the different functions…
Pressing the “Select/Reset” or OK button allows you to either select, set or reset the selected item.
The LCD display on select Kia models provides you with five different modes that you can switch by pressing the mode button.
The modes are: Trip Computer, Turn by Turn, Driving Assist, User Settings and Master Warning.
To get to Trip Computer mode, press the Mode button to
    cycle through the different modes…
When you get to Trip Computer mode, press the OK button
up or down to cycle through the Trip Computer modes.
Trip Computer mode can show you your fuel economy,
tripmeter information, drive information, a digital
speedometer, as well as the current drive mode.
Turn By Turn Mode provides you with route guidance when
using the navigation system as well as destination
information, on vehicles equipped with navigation.
Driving Assist mode displays information for the following
    systems:
    Lane Safety…
    Driver Attention Warning…
All-Wheel Drive and Compass, if equipped…
And the Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
When you select the User Settings Mode, you can adjust the
    Head-Up Display, if equipped…
Select the various Driver Assistance features…
As well as control the doors… lights… sound… convenience
features… service intervals… language and other features.
You can also do a system reset.
For your safety, some User Settings can only be changed
when the vehicle is stopped, and the transmission is in park.
If you attempt to change the settings while driving, the “Shift
    to Park” message will appear.
There is also a Master Warning mode that displays warning messages when one or more of the systems are not operating normally.
These can include LED headlamp malfunction… lamp malfunction… or High Beam Assist malfunction, if equipped.
When the malfunction is resolved, the Master Warning light turns off.
Some specifics: The Head-Up Display settings allow you to enable the system, adjust the display height…
    Rotation…
    Brightness…
    Speedometer size and color…
As well as editing which information is displayed in the Head-Up Display, like Turn by Turn navigation, traffic, Driving Assist, Lane Safety, blind-spot safety, including the media or audio information.
Driver Assistance settings, if equipped, allow you to adjust the settings and functions for:
    Smart Cruise Control…
    Driving Assist…
    Driver Attention Warning…
    Lane Safety…
    Forward Safety…Blind-Spot safety…
    Parking safety…
As well as warning timing and volume. You can also reset all of the different functions back to the factory settings by selecting Reset in the User Settings mode.
This works on everything except the language and service interval. Please refer to your Owner’s Manual for all of the features and functions that are controlled via the LCD display. Some of the messages you may see in the LCD Display include smart key system warnings:
    Key not in vehicle…
    Steering wheel unlocked…
And Low-Key Battery. The LCD Display puts you in control of your Kia… take the time to become familiar with how it functions and all that can be personalized.
Remember, having all of this information at your fingertips is invaluable - but driving while distracted is dangerous… so, use caution when using steering-wheel mounted controls while driving. For additional information on the LCD Display, please refer to the Features & Function Guide for your vehicle or the Kia Features & Functions Videos UA-cam channel.
    Thanks for watching.
