  • Every day, you get up, walk to your closet, and pick out your clothes - it’s your choice.
The same is kind of true with your Kia:
Each Kia provides you with a wide range of vehicle and user settings that you can personalize to your preferences.
Please note that the Vehicle Settings that are located in the audio head unit navigation screen are only available on select Kia models.
The User Settings are located in the Instrument Cluster’s LCD.
These Vehicles and User Settings will vary by model.
Now, let’s review some of the different vehicle settings:
With the vehicle stopped, the transmission in Park and the ignition on, press the Setup key on the audio head unit.
Then, press the Vehicle icon, which will take you to the Vehicle Settings screen.
Once you’re at the Vehicle Settings screen, use the touchscreen to navigate through the various menus.
For example, on some models you’ll see the Driver Assistance screen, you can adjust the Driving Convenience features, Warning Time, Warning Volume, Driver Attention Warning, Forward Safety, Lane Safety, Blind-Spot Safety, and Parking Safety.
The Drive Mode screen lets you set the Drive Mode Change Alert.
And on the Climate screen, you can select your preferences for Automatic Ventilation, Auto Defog, as well as Rear Climate Controls.
If equipped, you can also personalize the settings for the Lights, Doors, Instrument Cluster, Convenience features, and the Seats.
Refer to the Owner’s Manual or your Feature and Function Guide for a complete list of vehicle settings.
To adjust the User Settings in the Instrument Cluster, with the vehicle stopped, transmission in Park and the ignition on, enter the User Settings mode by pressing the Mode button on the steering wheel.
Then, press “up” or “down” to navigate between the various choices and press the “Select/Reset Okay” button when you have made your selection.
For example, when you select Driver Assistance, you can adjust the Warning Time, Warning Volume, Driver Attention Warning, Forward Safety, Lane Safety, Blind-Spot Safety and Parking Safety.
The Door/Trunk selection lets you change the setting for the doors to lock and unlock automatically,
    to use the Two-Press Unlock,
and set the Smart Trunk or Liftgate to Auto Open.
There are also a full range of user settings for the lights, including ambient light, if equipped… one-touch turn signal… headlamp display… and High Beam Assist.
Convenience features allow you to pick your favorite setting for the welcome light and the wipers and lights display, as well as enable the Wireless Charging System, Rear Occupant Alert, Icy Road Warning and Vehicle Auto-Shut Off.

Remember, some features may be available on your Kia model. You can even fine-tune your Service Intervals. Other User features include Fuel Economy Auto Reset as well as setting how the Speedometer,
Fuel Economy, Temperature and Tire Pressure are displayed.
You can even set your preferred language. Some Kia models will have theme selection where you can change the theme of the instrument cluster and LCD display. And if you wish, you can reset everything back to the original factory settings.
Thanks to Kia, a full range of personalization is at your fingertips.
For additional information on Vehicle and User Setting, please refer to your owner’s manual, the Car Infotainment System Quick Reference Guide, the Features & Function Guide for your vehicle or the Kia Features & Functions Videos UA-cam channel.
