Great video, I first got to know my wife went I had to ride the school to Jr. High School, then she was a friend of my girl friend and we took her along shopping with us, then after a couple of different girl friends I asked her out. I haven't heard about too many farmers/homesteaders in Iowa. I have been following several homesteading families in the Ashville area NC, for awhile now, probably because I have a niece from Ashville. It was ironic that I saw your comment there because I live in Des Moines. So it's nice seeing a neighbor here. The best of luck with this channel and all of your endeavors.
I think I will like this series. Ms Jill reminds me of my mom taking care of everything and everyone and not needing any recognition for it. She also had a green thumb and enjoyed feeding her family from her garden. Yall are a lucky family that you started marriage with God in it and kept him there. I drive a school bus and all I see is broken families it's so sad that is the normal now instead of like your family. I've been married 35 years to my wife we raised a son and daughter who are both married. I enjoy watching farmers and homesteaders who have God in their lives. Well, anymore we find that within certain denominations there are big gaps and differences between each church or family, so we tend not to define ourselves by a certain denomination. Generically speaking we are Bible believing Christians. We believe Christ is the only way to heaven by Grace and we try hard not to live by rules and laws that would demean that Grace, yet the Holy Spirit definitely leads us into certain convictions as far as modesty, stewardship, behavior and the like. We are far far from perfect, but our goal is to glorify God. We are thankful you are watching, and I hope we can be a blessing to you!

It was nice to meet mama and your dad I see they are so nice and cool 😎 and I use to work a friend just like you and he told me got married told his wife 20 kids but he only have 3 kids and he was fun to work with and if I could work with him I would but I am retired three years at 55 I left 34 years working at the same place because the young workers go cry to the boss and I equipment operator and wind I started working there you can’t be running any equipment and I had enough so I left I had enough working with them but I can tell you that I am the best equipment operator that they had and I love running Gradall I can dig 100 feet an hour and 1000 feet or more a day and they can’t even beet that and smooth ditch a long on the road and there is tricks and I never told them the secrets
My wife has always hated the term "housewife." She points out she is not married to the house. The house is just the physical structure in which she makes a home in which I could refresh so I could go back out into the world to earn a living, and in which our children (only two in our case) could grow up. Homemaker is a much better term for the wives who do make homes for the rest of us.

Homeschooled children are not missing out anything by not attending public school except the unnecessary problems that come with it. Neither does one miss out on anything by not consuming alcohol. My wife and I gave it up completely when we realized it was interfering in our relationship to the Lord. And despite keeping oneself for marriage apparently considered by many to be outdated or old fashioned, it's the right thing to do. Good advice for youth to begin praying for their future spouses while resisting temptation. Many people, unwillling to admit sinful actions and repent of them, will continue down the same path while inviting others to join them. It's that Romans 1.20 thing. I appreciate the testimony.

Homeschooled children are not missing out anything by not attending public school except the unnecessary problems that come with it. Neither does one miss out on anything by not consuming alcohol. My wife and I gave it up completely when we realized it was interfering in our relationship to the Lord. And despite keeping oneself for marriage apparently considered by many to be outdated or old fashioned, it's the right thing to do. Good advice for youth to begin praying for their future spouses while resisting temptation. Many people, unwillling to admit sinful actions and repent of them, will continue down the same path while inviting others to join them. It's that Romans 1.20 thing. I appreciate the testimony.
