As an older casual player, your relaxing approach to guitar playing is great. Your "on video" demeanor is also very positive. Whatever compelled you to start doing videos is very much appreciated.
Fantastic video! I love this song and wouldn’t have thought a beginner like me could handle it. Thanks! May I ask what Martin model that is? Beautiful guitar!
Thank you and you can totally play this one! This is my Martin D1-R. My favorite guitar. Bought it new in 1998. They don’t make this model anymore but you can find them used.
I had the same impression, so this video is a HUGE encouragement because it's a great song. Thank you, Kevin, for another excellent addition to your already fabulous library of song instruction. I have to stop typing now and go practice...
Wow it's taken me an hr stopping and starting u 😂but I got it, secret is knowing chord start strings, and knowing where my thumb starts 😂 ie G,Em thumb on 6th string, C thumb 5th and D thumb on 4th string. Tkx a mill, Gonna take some practice 😅 Tina
Hi Kevin, Vicky, and Maggie May. Thank you for this video, I love this song. Did you know that Leonard Cohen originally composed more that eighty verses of Hallelujah? Wow! 😳

Amazing!

Hi I’m really enjoying your tutorials, but can you barre the B7 chord?
Sure can
Do you have a pattern that will sound ok with this song
Thank you for this lesson. I started to play along and realized how bad my capo sounds on the 5th fret. What capo do you use?
I use a shubb capo. Here is my shop list and it is on there: www.relaxandlearnguitar.com/shop/

Do you ever play either of the 2 strings for the Em chord? It does not look like you hit either string at all.
Nope. You could technically fret no strings there. But it is an em chord so I like shaping it to stay in time.
@@Relaxandlearnguitar gotcha! TY!
Beautiful song 😅
Thanks !
Kevin, do you teach guitar on Skype or Zoom ?
I speak about private beginner lessons of guitar please ?

Originally written and sung by Leonard Cohen. THE BEST version of it is sung by K.D. Lang.
Cool. I’ll check out that one.
It’s a Leonard Cohen song. Jeff Buckley sang it.
Cool. Thanks
Intro really difficult kevin
Stick with it.
Take off the capo and go to c# to avoid stop playing at 80
Thanks!
Thanks Richard!!
