Do you always strap the ladder to the braid and your harness? Or just because it's windy? I'm new to this career as a 1099, absolutely love everything else except going up the ladder in the city.
Possibly always. I think it's called the Strand, which is optional, but I like knowing my ladder is solid. I will sometimes drive my truck over and put the ladders feet against the tire, so I don't kick out or rachet strap the bottom of the ladder to pole.
How many times have you spliced your ladder into the loop? 😂
Maybe 3 times, but luckily not in the air.

During the rain, The cable (Ethernet cable cat6) gets a high voltage and sometimes switches get damaged! WHY, Maybe there is a short circuit OR what!
Our access points use only 4 pins, can I use the other inactive pins as a earthing system / grounding in order to prevent the devices from lightening strikes/ short circuit during the rain.

Sounds like you need an electrician to have a look. It sounds like something is too close to 120v... that is not good and might start an electric fire 🔥....

What they have you doing with the fiber optics they should just go back to the old-school coax cable instead of trying to do this new fiber optic stuff to save the company money, but make the technicians do more work doesn’t make sense they’re going to have shortage of technicians just crazy stay safe up there bro keep the good videos coming 👍
Fiber is a good thing. What is better about coax?
