Nice to know I'm not the only crazy one around here. Love the way you appreciated all the nuances of the song and their singing. This is indeed goddess tier vocal arrangement and delivery. I'll just share a few thoughts about the start of the song and stop there. We were blessed to have Earth Wind & Fire in the 70's (I'm old). At the beginning Hwasa, Wheein & Solar give us elemental Earth Wind & Fire sequentially. Hwasa is so visceral you can practically taste the blood and smell the guts. Your description of Wheein was perfect. The question she sings floats away in the breeze, disoriented, dissolving in the mist. Then Solar's voice flashes like lighting with an explosion of pure spirit that threatens to separate your soul from your body and send it shooting into the sky crackling with fire. I doubt Solar's tats are real or moomoos would be freaking out and even someone like me who doesn't do twitter or other sm would have heard about it. I hope she never gets a tattoo. I think being tat-less suits her personality in much the same way as her dislike of alcohol. My guess is she only drinks when she's with the other members and otherwise never feels the urge.

It's REALLY hard to pick a favorite Mamamoo ballad. But for me, I would say WAWN and I Miss You are 1A and 1B. Good Night is also up there for me. Even their ballads are different each time. Good Night, I Miss You, Paint Me, Ten Nights, Hello Mama...they are all ballads, but they are distinct. Like for different moods, maybe? I don't know how to explain it. I listen to Good Night when I need comfort to nod off to sleep. Paint Me is a true power ballad, a vocal flex. I Miss You is the most soulful of their ballads, a true love song. Ten Nights might be the most traditional of their ballads. And Hello Mama is a reminiscing type of song... I haven't listened to the rest of WAW album enough to get a feel yet. But they are all added on my playlist for sure. I really love Another Day.

I liked the outfits in the rooftop but I think my favorite so far has been on Real KPOP Live “it’s Live”. I really wanna hear this song with a full orchestra behind them....imagine.

Yea, when i saw the live i wondered why they did not use her more? She does so much to round out a 4 part harmony. that was a missed opportunity for greatness.
I also thought it was so short when it ended then checked the time code and couldn't believe it was almost a 4 min song. I hope an eventual live stage or concert version is extended of just more runs and riffs like they've done for other live stages.
The girls go into the booth an they decide how to sing the producer an I mean each one of them let the girls do themselves. They direct some feelings but in all the girls are what they are because of themselves. Also they said this song is the journey from what they were to what they need or want to be now. Also they said it's a song an album for the fans to help celebrate 7 years
I know exactly how you feel. i dont understand why she wasn't incorporated into more harmonies. its the only thing about the song that annoys me. they could have used the depth of her voice.
i’m not sure if it makes sense, but the solo scenes of each in their WAWN MV seems to sort of reference the solo projects or (possibly even their group projects) that they have done before... and them singing “Where Are We Now” in their individual scenes.. i- 😭

Around the scenes/time stamps at 1:41 / 1:49 of the WAWN MV, if you were to look closer, you’d see objects displayed around, like the ukulele from Star Wind Flower Sun MV, and the crown looking at closely from Moonbyul’s Eclipse Era. Those are the objects that stood out to me. Not sure if there’s anything else, but it definitely takes us back so much.
