Hi Konstantin, always happy to see you again with this new adventure. Nice overwiew of the cockpit of the SAAB 340. Excellent comment on these flights, I appreciate it. 👍See you soon, friendly Captain. 🤩( Always have a co-pilot with you on long flights ? ) from France
Good job Captain and first officer ..in this conditions...fly safe..😉🤙...i like SF 340 ...i flew a long Time ago with a french company Britair..from Le Havre to Gatwick...a good turbo prop with SAAB 2000 👍
Do you have a base, or do you just go where the work is? What did you say the cargo going back to Vigo was, a bed? That would be an expensive delivery for a bed? Or were you returning to Vigo anyway? I like your humour and easy going approach to life, but you don't miss the checks when necessary👍
We do adhoc - chaotic operations, i honestly like it most. We flew to Vigo to pick it up because the customs procedures were already completed and it would be way to complicated to bring the cargo to Santiago…
Hi, many thanks for the very good video. I love good analog flying. Not so many computers. But a quick question: Why did the autopilot not activate? Due to the low altitude or was it the required correction deflections?
Hi Konstantin, I really enjoyed this video and the beautiful Sunset above the clouds and the night landing in Birmingham. I was a little confused at the beginning because you mentioned in Part 1 that since you diverted to Santiago they were going to bring the Cargo from Vigo to you. It looks like you had a change of plans and flew to Vigo. Looks like the weather was not much better with fog and rain and then sleet in Vigo. The extra nice and friendly people in Vigo seemed to make up for the bad weather. You even go to ride in the fast accelerating Electric Car. In your flight from Vigo what was the first city in landed in? I thought that was Birmingham but I guess it was another city. The Sunset approaching Birmingham was fabulous and enjoyed the night landing in Birmingham. Glad that you made it safely to your final destination. Take care until next time.
Ben, sorry, catching up with replies :) We could not land in Vigo and diverted to Santiago. We expected cargo to be brought by car from Vigo to Santiago? It would be much cheaper then making again this short flight, however it was already cleared by customs in Vigo so we had to fly there next morning…
Konstantin, you know how much i enjoy your Saab videos. I do have Saab question. What is max range of the saab 340 and saab 200 on a normal day with no winds? Nothing on the saab site and when i goggle i get as short as 400nm and as long as 1350nm. That is a pretty big range so i am trying to ask and expert.
Thanks for the comment! I love questions. Saab 340 flies 250 KTS and can do 1200 NM plus adequate reserve. Saab 2000 flies at 350 KTS can do 1500 NM plus reserve.
Much better than Netflix
Thanks 🤩
I like the ‘no autopilot, your controls’ 🤘🏼🤘🏼
🫶🏻 Hand flying is a real fun!

Any plans to expand your Saab 340 roster now that Loganair has retired its fleet?
I think all planes gone to the US :(
That was great! mid rvr and end rvr bad
Impressed as always good job
Yeah, quite crazy.🤪

Can Saab move backwards by reversing propellers?
Yes, but our company restricted “powerback” operations, easy to strike the tail ;)
Those wipers! How annoying.
Very good video,thank you Konstantin!
Many thanks!☺️
