Ah, what a trip down memory lane! I've flown both, the Metro 3 and the SF 340 (with Crossair).
Well we didn't call the Metro a sausage, but a stove pipe :-) The Saab in contrast we called a flying air drag ;-)

Thanks for another joyfull flight with KFEAvia. SAAB 340 is probably not the newest aircraft but it is the most impressive to me!
😀😀😀 They fight for nature - no disposable cups. I am for it - avoiding polluting nature with plastic bags, washing towels every day in hotels, flying at lower power to reduce fuel consumption, etc, but paper cup for crew coffee would be necessary :)
I havent been Saab340 ,thank you ,in Finland we have ATR domestic flights .Sweden have Saab.

Hi Konstantin, at the one airport it looks like they were saving money not having to have humans direct planes where to park and used the machine to tell you when you were parked correctly?
The White cloud formations at the second airport on landing were really beautiful.
It's sad with the high landing fee they don't even supply cups for the pilots to enjoy the fancy coffee from their machines.
Yeah, “automatic docking system” it is called. Not sure if its cheaper to have it installed and certified, rather then have a personnel, but probably it is cheaper 😀 No disposable cups due to “non-pollution” policies
Koskenkorva is popular vodka brand, I hope that you bought least one bottle. We call it simple "kossu" and "kossu vissy" if you put some mineral water on it. I live 38 km east of EFHK airport. Cheers!

I literally did every course in a different places, only twice came back to one school in Hungary, Rivair.hu . Slovakia might be cheaper…

Hi! Good questions.
We carry technician because it is a transport category airplane and needs and inspection every 48 and 72 hours. I had an approval to sign off such inspections after some training, but if something needed to be done - a certified maintenance facility has to step in.
You need to calculate what is cheaper - have a full time paid mechanic or pay a fortune to call the maintenance now and then 😀

@@KFEAvia а тут що потрібна якась специфічна військова підготовка в пілотуванні цього типу літака? Це, наскільки я розумію, тей самий літак, що і у вас тільки присутня загагуліна зверху і салон з відповідною апаратурою
@@andriiavramchuk7533 гарне питання, але можливо і в пілотуванні є різниця, які мінімуми у військових, заходи, команди, законодавство, виконання польотів, дотримання яких правил.
Ну і взагалі, це повністю інша ліцензія - військова і цивільна авіація ідуть окремою ланкою…

Здравствуйте! Да, видео бывают и прошлогодние 😀 Насчет языка - процедуры делаем на Английском, брифинги в том числе, в теории можем делать на русском, но оно уже посто удобнее, ну всё же в самолете и наших мануалах на Английском, зачем что-то выдумывать, плюс часто экипажи международные… А снимаю на Английском потому что рынок моего бизнеса, продаж самолетов, сместился в Европу.

куда читать без команды :)) где сиэрэм, где распределение обязанностей ПМ и ПФ :))) кошмар для большой авиации. лэг ПФ - пф заказывает чеклисты и всё остальное. лэг ПМ - пм выполняет, когда заказан ПФом не наоборот :) и не важно ху из ху, это бейсик сиэрма и соп
Та команды были конечно же, я ж вырезаю 60%, если всё оставить - будет скучно и долго. А может то уже второй или третий дубль даже :)

The best start would be cargo, not an easy operations (mostly nights) and no so prestige so people run to PAX transport quickly - pilots always needed in cargo :)
I flew out of Vajnory, a small strip just 4km north of MR Stefanika in a Zlin 242 and an AN2. This was back in the mid nineties. The guy I met there explained at the time it was cheaper to fly AN2's there from the UK to hangar them over winter than leave them in the UK. Unfortunately it is now closed.
My brother was married to a Slovak girl and I was visiting him, we ended up at the airfield as you do! I remember Lauda Air were doing ILS training as it was cheaper and very close to Vienna! Great video and so nice to see places not on the usual bucket list👍👍

I think it is an east Europe thing. In West pilot in command flies the plane and pilot monitoring is monitorimg and uses the radio. Never four hands manipulating the controls. My instructor did it one time and that was my first landing. He said; we do this together. After this you do it alone. And so it went. It is my controls or your controls. Never both controls.
@@TheAatupaatu true, i heard a lot that FO was only a flap operator 😀 But on landing PM needs no radio, and he did not really fly the plane, i felt no input whatsoever 🙌
