- Hi everyone!
You are on «KFEAVIA» channel.
Me and my co-pilot Bogdan invite you on board of the SAAB 340 cargo aircraft on route from Malta to Spain.
We were very “lucky” to have a much stronger headwind then expected and on top of that - unacceptable weather at our destination - Vigo.

Like always a hight quality content from Kostantin! One of the best aviation chanel on YT. The only one which is real showing the real life of a pilot, flying small and medium planes. You are the only one who is not afraid to show the real life which some times is dealing with issues, flying not the best planes in the world but always with the smile on the face. You are a real pilot not a pilot showing only the best of it. Keep it up like this Kostantin ! Great job! Greating from EPWA Dan
Awesome comments.....I totally agree with you......
Dzien dobry, Dan!
Thanks a lot gor the warm comment 🫂😎, trying to keep it real 🤙🏿
Mother Nature, always the fly in the ointment. Live to fly another day, Captain. Now for coffee! 😅
😀🤞🏻 Yeah, true, weather is beyond our control, however i know there are weather modification flights take place in some countries….
Out of curiosity, do you fly the Saab on all its cargo flights, or are there standby pilots who fill in when you are involved elsewhere?
No doubt this aircraft has been serving you well. However, is there another plane that you’ve ever seriously considered?
Right decision, safety always first 👍🏻
Just one of those days ... almost fun 😅😅
Hi Konstantin, as always great video, interesting to also see the crew on board, with your first officier, the fly is all the more pleasant...beautiful destination...! and a shame for the weather...! See you soon, friendly Captain 👍👌👍from France
Sounds like the correct choice was made to me
Such an interesting video Konstantin. You really engage your viewers always. Also, you always have such a friendly crew and associates. Thanks for for taking us along with you.
Regards from South Africa
I totally agree with you..😊....Greetings from USA.

I am lucky, always meeting only good people in my life. 🤞🏻
Greetings to SA! 👋🏿
hey Konstantin always fun to see, thanks bro 😁
Captain Constantin! I like your content. Wish you further success and good decision making…10 Meter visibility 😂
Thank you Konstantin
🤝
Sometimes every is stacked against you but in the End you made the best decision of course, can't wait for the next episode
Thanks, good to hear other pilot's opinion! 👍
Keep it up Captain, you are amazing and the videos are very interesting and useful✌✈🌹
Thank you for sharing
Really entertaining!
😊hi nice flight
Hi Konstantin, enjoyed this video and I would say you made the right decision to fly to Santiago instead of Vigo. They probably weren't happy about having to get your freight from Vigo to Santiago but safety is the first priority. It is better to pay to extra to move freight and avoid an aviation mishap. It must have been challenging to fly in the 70 knot winds while inflight. On the first airport landing it was neat to see the plane come out of the cloud layer and seeing the runway for landing insight. Also the night takeoff was awesome with all of the runway lights in the darkness. Glad you made it safely to Santiago and landing at night in Vigo would be bad with the extra challenge of landing at night in the low visibility.
Always appreciate how you talk us through each challenge you encounter in flight and share your decision making options with us.
nice video very I interesting to watch :) subscribed
Thank you :)
Congratulations on reaching 10.000 Subscribers 🎉 Great Video again 😊

Great work and great decision! Thank you for your videos! 🙂
Да, лететь без должного запаса топлива рисковано...Вы как всегда на высоте, Константин!
Абсолютно согласен!
Спасибо!
Always à Joyce to watch 😊😊😊😊😊
Another excellent video konstantin sir 👍🏻…your videos are literally an inspiration for me. Love your job and videos, hope i can also work in cargo airlines in europe once i complete my cpl. I am from india, do you have any suggestions on how to apply for European airlines and work there ?
It is not easy if you have no EU residence 🥲 But makes sense to try! Try India - i am sure a lot of pilots needed, there is a worldwide pilot shortage…
Bellissimo grazie
Prego 🇮🇹
Keep it up like this Kostantin!!! 👍👍👍

Love the vlog format, even in flight 🔥
Glad to hear it! Thanks ☺️
I'd love a KFEAvia sticker! I could stick it to my toolbox where I work as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer on the largest Saab 340 fleet in the world!
Not Rex by any chance?
@@cejay67 that's them!
@@johnforster5312 Oh how many times have I been sitting at Mt Isa hoping the damn thing will start!
@@cejay67 yeah they don't like starting in the heat, especially off batteries!
@@johnforster5312 At Mt Isa, ground power was snagged by Qantas Link and so we waited and waited whilst it gradually run the battery down and down. Then the pilot decided to try the other engine and for whatever reason that one seemed to be a bit happier to light up and turn. We then sat there with doors open and everything off with the engine running, I’m assuming to put some charge back into the system to then start the reluctant side. Had numerous other encounters with the 340 and their age, but it seems to work for Rex at the moment. They must be storing up some big expenses soon though, they can’t keep running for ever?
Excellent video as allways..very interesting flying different aircraft..
Thank you!
Beautiful landing with the great SAAB!
Indeed it is!
Great video. How do you get rated on so many aircraft types?
GOOD JOB? I would have take the same decision !!
Hi, i live close to Vigo Airport, my house is only 100m fron rwy, really dense fogs here... You are absolutely welcome next time¡¡
Next time…))) And fog is very interesting, airport is in the hill - always foggy
That was a long day Guys, Fly safe
Yeah, long and exhausting. Thanks 🙏
lived in vigo not long ago, had to move for uni, but my parents are very nearby
We will make it to and from Vigo. Next video 😎
@@KFEAvia awesomeee!
I saw you landing at Zaragoza
You are a spotter? :)
Полноватый чел,который бывает в кадре,это техник или лоад мастер?
Did not understand the problem: visibility seemed to be very good in Santiago (see 20:20), so why do you had to think about an alternative destination? Again it was fun to join you on that flight anyway - thanks!
Good question.
We were heading to VIGO, visibility was RVR 500/325 meters. We need minimum 1200 meters. Therefore we went to Santiago as an alternate…
@@KFEAvia Sorry, I just saw the headline now: "Malta - Santiago (Divert from Vigo)". I assumed your destination airport was Santiago. I promise to read the headline more carefully next time 😀
The original plan was for them to fly to Vigo and had to divert to Santiago because of low visibility in Vigo.
What happened with Fleet Air ? Seems like all the fleet is grounded for the time being?
Not really, they mostly fly ATRs now.
Do y’all fly with aircraft engineers ? How do I apply to fleet air 🤩
Yea, its cheaper to have an engineer rather then use external maintenance facilities.
Do you hold EASA mechanics license?
