This is a game with the best developer/community connection there is. There are ups and downs, but in the end we all made it what it is. GGG is amazing.
I bought 30usd pack and got multiple tabs when i reach the endgame , maybe i dont even need to spend a single cent for years...

@@LongToad I mean you gotta pick. A free game that you eventually have to pay 20-30 bucks for the necessary stash tabs or $60 Overwatch in which you have to pay another $60 for the single player campaign (overwatch 2)
@@LongToad stash prices are really fair and if you buy on a sale you spend like 10$ and most likely played the game enough to justify the price by a long shot

Nah, pretty much everyone agrees with that. Typically running double life flasks and mana flasks without any utility flask active aswell

Chris said the pacing of the game is going to probably stay speedster friendly. It's kind of a shame, I'd absolutely love more of a strategic, brutal slog of a game than just trying to burn through the campaign. But, when you're going to have to complete the campaign dozens of times I suppose going fast is good, unless they decide to implement some kind of alternate leveling options.
But, I get it. Speedster farming is kind of a big part of PoE for lots of people, so it's a hard sell to just make it a brutal, unforgiving strategic slog after years of speeding. Honestly, PoE2 is going to be BIG poggies either way. Such polish, fantastic animations, new weapon types, new skill gems, Shapeshifting, 19 brand new ascendancies.
Btw I'm going Reap with full fire conversion chieftain as my starter.
Would love to see changes to the one hit screen sweep asap

Well it's only implemented for Crossbows so it's not like much is riding on it succeeding. I think it's cool.
Oh I kind of see what you mean with the spears also having the implicit engage/disengage functionality. I do love the idea of more weapon types determining like mobility skills of characters, like a pole vaulting mobility skill using a spear, or shields implicitly granting shield charge, or a big 2H maul granting a cooldown AoE stun skill. I like it because it helps to distinguish different weapon types. But the new skill gem system apparently allows up to 8 6-links which is insane, and these weapon types just further open up additional Utility skills to be used. So long story short, the devs need to dramatically overhaul all skills to somehow limit or cap player power with the capability of so many fully linked skills existing.

Yes it is tagged as a spell and has a built in damage over time debuff, not Bleed.

Yep
D3 is a fantastic gateway game into something like PoE. If D3 is the only ARPG you've ever played then be prepared to be overwhelmed when you try PoE. It can be daunting and frustrating trying to understand the basics. Plenty of mates have tried Poe, didn't understand a single thing about what they were doing while levelling and quit shortly after.

As someone who has never played PoE before... I'm so lost.
Man, this game looks so amazing, but so confusing...So many things to learn and it's honestly what keeps me away...Am I wrong to be scared of the learning curve?
I only cared about beating the game bosses, so from that perspective game is very simple, you can beat the game with simple and easy gear you can find or craft.

Why is act 2 always a desert level o games like this
Desert tilesets are easy to make, rocks are graphically a lot easier than trees, so when you're making the game, you pick the easy stuff first. Then they write into the game the order you've created it. You need content for your trailers, and again, rocks look nicer than trees. Less physics, less reflections, less motion, means it's more trailer-friendly, and you don't spoil lategame stuff.

It really bothers me that every single person who watches this asks "are they just slowing the gameplay down or is the build bad" of course it looks like they are doing no damage, they want to show everything off. Shattering the whole screen with explosions and mtx effects doesnt exactly show off anything very well. We have been aware of this for like 7 years now how are people still reacting that way? And the fact that some people are saying it looks like the same game, have you ever seen a sequel type game that was just completely different than a past game? Its supposed to be the same its just a new engine and new story.
There are morons complaining about everything and anything every league no matter what. Just go on reddit any time a new league's patch notes come out. A cesspool of drooling plebs who don't even understand or haven't tried any of the stuff they're raging about. No matter how good a league is there will always be people complaining. Some leagues have even been ruined by this because GGG are too nice for their own good and they toned down challenging mechanics so much they became a joke. The same people who moaned that it's too hard to do the content when they barely put any time into improving their builds, were then also the ones who complained that the league is dead and they are bored.

Just play. Most of this stuff is for the extreme endgame stuff, final maximizations. If you're just "playing", try the new league when it starts today, and see. It's free after all.
