This video helped me so much, I'm new to faceting, and doing a transfer was the hardest thing I've been struggling with, I have a home made transfer machine, it has some play so when you showed how you can manipulate it after the initial setting on the wax, I was able to make it work even with my aluminum sticks. Great video, I use this method all the time, when making tallow cut tables for emeralds. It is more challenging on my V5, but i don't know of a better way than what you did. Just making small adjustments, until it's cutting straight.

Red dop wax. Some call it shellac. No other special name that I know.

Nope. I’ve never made it. I just buy it and use it.
