  • This was our first time completing the Balanced Rock trail. We had driven it about half-way one other time but needed to turn back because it was getting late. We are glad we finished it this time because the reservoir at the end is beautiful and a very relaxing setting. As you will see, there are a lot of large boulders along the way on this trail. Our kids love exploring and climbing on them so we did that a few times. It was a good day. Thanks for watching!

    Thanks for the vid, I can't find many videos on this road. I rode my mountain bike up yesterday and then let gravity take me back down. Really enjoyed blasting those swales they cut in the road. Pretty much makes it a DH trail with about 50 consecutive jumps. Access by hike or bike can also be had from Palmer Lake. Visit O'Malley's for some great food!
