I can't speak for other GTI's but these 2024 GTI 380 clutches feels really strong much better than the MK8 Golf R clutch, this one feels like it was meant to take power.

Like you said the Type R is the more special car but me personally I'd choose the GTI cause it's the better bang for your buck vehicle.

My biggest takeaway - while both have fake noise coming from the speakers, the noise from the Type R is WAY more annoying.
