how do you tag column rebars in elevation,if you model the bars separately not in a set,but they have same bar mark.eg i have 8 bars of same size,same length and shape code but they are not in one rebar set when modelling them in column.for the elevation of the column,how do you group them and tag the as one.
Calvoh, Thank you for watching this tutorial. I don’t group the column bars. I sketch one bar in “L” shape and simply mirror and use the tag to select one bar. Its not a group. Hope you will get the point. Thank you again.
I dont find rebar shapes on library. How to get it?? I installed manually the shape bar on the revit. After that if I click any shape and try to draw nothing has appearing on the drawing page except round symbol floating on the screen that moves when mouse moves here and there. If I click mouse nothing appearing. Note: I didn't draw any sketch just picked the rebar shape from the tool and tried to draw the shape on the draw page.
It'd be nice to at least have captioned each significant step :))
what magic do you do at 2:59 to join those two sketch lines, trim-extend?. I get an error 'Can't convert sketch to rebar shape'
Dear Herman, In the Structure TAB, click on Rebar than Sketch Rebar. that will allow you to sketch the rebar. for connecting two lines just type "TR" (mean Trim). hope you will able to do this process now. Thank you For Watching our Video.

why after i did the concrete blinding, it did not show up in 3D views

In the Rebar Element View Visibility States dialog, select the views in which you want the rebar to be viewed unobscured. Optionally, select the 3D views in which you want the rebar to be viewed as solid.
