Hello, I tried to put rebar in the foundation. I got stuck because I didn't load the family from the Reinforcement Area. Where do I get this family? Thank you.
Balken - I get the implementing of rebar for slabs but is there a video of how to do this with a cut out in the slab for say conduit runs from up under the slab. The design is a 12" thick slab with 2 rows of steel with 45 degree pieces connected with hooks (horiz.) with a 2" and 3" conc. cover at cut outs/slab edge in slab. Thanks for all the great videos. keep up the good work. - Tim
HI, your Tutorials are Amazing, I am a Structural Designer learning Revit, thanks to you I got a very good start. I have a question, how to delete the entire top layer of Rebars on my slab? I just want he bottom bars. Thanks a lot Paulo
hi! is it possible to draw rebar in revit without actually making the 3d model? for example … you dont get bim model from architect (formwork plans) but you have to draw reinforcement plans … or you just have to make model yourself first. thnx … great videos btw!
Hi Balkan, Have you got a video of putting the rebar into a slab edge, I have a odd shaped slab edge. i have tried following the path but it wont pick it. also the slab edge miters at the coroners and the steel rebar runs straight. Thanks for your help in advanced
Hi, your tutorial is very helpful. nevertheless, I still have question to ask. How to adjust reinforcement when I extend it into the beam for hook or sth the other direction comes along, so it is overlaps on beam section? Thanks, Vechet
Great Video! Can you model the loads to a concrete slab with different rebar reinforcement (i.e. different spacing or one layer vs two layers) within Revit? That is, detailing as well as modeling loads to each layout. Thanks!
Sir describe after 40 feet overlape of bar , bar bending schedule weight and counting overlaps length or weight. Thanks. good videos for learning. Now i subscribe your channel.
Nice presentation but honestly rebar modelling in revit is useless. Even if you put the main rebar, you can't put u-bars at ends, and if you can you can't tag the properly. The end result is not professional and we have to resort to 3rd party software for that. Your hooks for example don't appear in schedule, as shape code is 00 = straight bar, so not good.
idk how I would live without you. your tutorials are the best
Thanks a lot. May you live long; your videos helped us a lot.
