I’m thinking Lesser for the Scaup, bill looks smaller and the black nail on the tip looks thin. Great video!

Are the Brants there all year? I go to SD a few times a year and go birding down there, and I’ve never seen one. Hope to.

They are here in the winter. I haven't seen them many places outside of Mission Bay, but there were quite a few when I went, so if you do come down between Oct-March Mission Bay is probably the best place to see them.

I scoped 15 of them off La Jolla bird rock back on April 1, 2019. Now we have one in Ohio!

What are the birds which are flocking on West Ski Island?

Thanks for watching! I'm not sure as I haven't been birding down there recently.
