This is the second of several RGV videos at Estero Llano Grande State State Park & WORLD BIRDING CENTER. We have 5 days to visit some new birding areas to us! The last time we were here was in March of 2023. The birding is incredible because of the proximity to Mexico.

Love that place :) Got my lifer Common Pauraque there in May of 24' :) Also, my lifer Buff Bellied Hummer, perched and In Flight :) Would so love to go again, but 2000 miles from my home :( Love the video :) Really takes me back ! Thank you :)

@dnasbirdingadventures oh, I would have forgotten.... I got the Least Grebe too. It was just a heavy crop, plus backlit, so I couldn't really use it ☹️ ... Oh, that was on the pond right before Alligator Pond 👍
@Chris_Wolfgram I think it's called Grebe Pond, fittingly. That's where we saw the Least Grebe couple too last year.
