Oh heyyy! Just trying find my way over here on UA-cam! It’s a whole different ball game compared to instagram but giving it a shot. Going to go binge watch your videos now!!! 🤗
I'm about halfway through the first volume of this with my kids and I completely agree with you on the cons of it. We skipped the mummy chapter completely and I started skipping a lot of the random intense content (like a dictator mounting heads on spears. Yikes.) I also usually skip the longer myths or have a conversation with my kids before I read it reminding them that none of it is real-just a story that culture made up. Overall though I'm liking it. We even got a little globe so we can look at the places we're reading about, and the book has sparked a lot of conversations. My kids were extremely interested in the silk worm myth and how silk is made.
Yes! Kind of have to pre-read some of the chapters or they catch you off guard. Have to edit on the fly.😅 But overall it's so good! We are doing volume 2 this year!
Thank you so much! Your review was very helpful and I really enjoyed listening to it and seeing all of your fun art projects. It looks like you guys had a lot of fun! I have been trying to find a history course for my son next year. We kind of skipped history this year and he’s going into 3rd grade. You explained this really well. Thanks again.
Yay! So fun to find you on here!
