I just wanted to say I have never crocheted prior to attempting this drawstring bag.
I have now successfully crocheted four of these little bags for my friends that I campaign with.

Your videos are great! I am very new to crocheting and I managed to make a beautiful drawstring bag thanks to you. I made a few mistakes but I will definitely do more and hopefully get better with each one. Only thing I found a little hard to understand (I feel that you went a little fast) was after making the row of holes for the string, the next row was a bit hard to follow. But I still managed to make the bag :) Thank you!

Love this. How much yarn did this bag use please? Or if you have tutorial of using mixed colors please. I really love this and want to try out, but i had small yarn rolls of different colors.
I actually bought yarn online and i thought it would be long, there were 6 colors pack. 😢😢unfortunately it came small rolls
Why does the number of stitches increase when I do 36 single crochets in round 7?
I thought I followed along perfectly but by the end my bag was maybe 4-5x bigger than hers LOL I still love it though. Just kinda funny i must have lost track and just kept expanding lol

You an try to weigh the finished product and the yearn scraps you have to see how much both are and if it would be a ought :)
It took some time but the end result was amazing
Note to self:
Left off at 11:15 36 single crochet stitches per round, do about 10 more rounds

Mine came out getting smaller and smaller at the top def not as perfect and clean as her idk how she did it it was my first time tho. But this is the first tutorial that wasn’t confusing dispute what I did😂
if you want the bumps to be more pronounced, do 1sc, 2dc, 1tr, 2dc, 1sc and repeat : )

Do we slip stitch into the chain 1, or into the first real stitch of each row?
Hello, and thank you for the question! In my opinion, it doesn't matter where you slip stitch. If you slip stitch into the chain 1, then you put your first single crochet in the next stitch (aka the 1st real stitch). But if you slip stitch into the 1st real stitch, then you have to put your first sc into the same place where you slip stitched.
