Costumes and visual gimmicks aside, DEVO could seriously rock. I remember being 11 years old, watching this, and feeling shocked that an esoteric group would perform on a pretty mainstream adolescent sitcom. But I'm glad they did.

And the gent doing the introduction, William Bogert, well, you'll see him some years later interviewing Clayton Bigsby.

Haha, I felt the same way whenever I looked at pictures of teenagers from before my time. It’s because they’re wearing clothes and hairstyles that are dated to you so it makes them look older. If you had been alive at that time they would look young. Just like in 30 years people are going to look at teenagers today and think they look old! 😀
