@@gfreshski Yep he's got quite the back catalogue of work too, including working with Bowie I believe (he featured in Devo's Satisfaction video, among numerous other collaborations with them)
I wish you’d been with me at the Fox in Atlanta on 23 Nov. 1982, my brother. It was too incredible for words, now 41 years ago. Which is also too incredible for words…
As a teen I did watch Solid Gold on the off-chance I'd see a band like Devo or KISS on a rare episode. Otherwise, there were "2" dancers with killer bodies that I craved! Wahi' Valleys
NOW I remember why we watched Solid Gold every week, as cheesy as most of it was. Because sometimes there'd be a surprise like this. And yes, kids, back then DEVO WERE POP STARS. (mainly because of Whip It)
This scared the daylights out of me when it came out. I was 13. Mission accomplished, DEVO!
Same experience!
It scared the crap out of me too!
i become fan of Devo since 1982 with this presentation in Solid gold, with my brother learning the choreographies for show them in the goth clubs 😅
Devo is the only band I know that could make the Omnichord a cool instrument to play on stage.
Then you haven't seen My Morning Jacket. ua-cam.com/video/PETDA5YbyNQ/v-deo.htmlsi=eoFHxJqbxwmActJs

Bubbled Under the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 106 in 1982. GREAT song. Love this one!
Saw them on this tour in Cleveland from the first row; a memorable, indelible experience!…
I remember watching this episode of solid gold...the clown freaked me the hell out!...still does.
I think his name is Spazz Attack.
I remember watching this as a kid. Me and my siblings couldn't stop laughing 😂. Glad I found this
He freaked me out too! I also thought the music was scary. Here I am 35 years later to revisit it

John Cena has never seen this song. Or is it the other way around?
Where are the Solid Gold Dancers? They should have been all over Devo.
Seems like all of their TV appearances from this era are lip-synced.
everyones' appearances were lip-synched at the time. the performers did not make that choice, the tv studios did.
