I feel the same way about learning fighting game terminology. It’s like learning another language, kinda.

Every time an Exploring Series video has a part 1 next to it you know you are in for a treat.
Literally that, I suddenly get the drive to complete typing out my documents or homework when there's longform videos of his.
@@notanaveragedoktah8390 I know how you feel. I get more energy to keep pumping along at work when I listen to one of his podcast episodes.
For real i was just about to type this!
Falling asleep is MUCH harder without the sweet Exploring SCPs to lull me to sleep, and these long videos are so much better
I prefer stand-alone episodes
"Forgiveness is not guaranteed, that's what gives it meaning." Is a line that hits unexpectedly hard. ❤
"Forgiveness never was guaranteed from those that we hurt in this world, if you want salvation then go see a priest" Pat the Bunny 'Never Coming Home(Song for the Guilty)
forgiveness is the choice of the victim and right that it should be.
why would you feel regret for mistakes if you can always just mutter to yourself for five minutes and justify never learning from the error?
you wouldn't and that's the problem with all iterations of phantom forgiveness no matter how organised or traditional.
time forgives nothing, only kind people can do that and the odds that people deserve such altruism is slim at best.
thus pain causes the evolutionary pressure to improve, failure to do so begets more suffering.
without the kind the oblivious wouldn't last a week.

This is a great exchange, too:
Dr. Deering: The failsafes are foolproof.
Chief Torosyan-Deering: Proven by certified fools.
Mrs Deering is a fuckin' piece of work. Even amidst all the existential, world-ending horror; that little personality assassination was shockingly brutal.
Amelia has always been a badass, and also the nicest person in all of Site-43
@@WD_Gaster66 She didn't come off as badass or nice in this one. Just kind of a belligerent arsehole to a guy who watched his brother get schlorped by fuck-knows-what.
@@WD_Gaster66wait she’s a recurring character? I haven’t paid attention to SCP in just one year and I’m already so behind
@@ChannelofNathaniel She's only a recurring character in the Site-43 world of skips and tales, because pretty much every character there is also recurring

this version of the SCP universe really needs someone who isn't wrapped up in all the technical jargon to point out why a machine that depends on it always working or it breaks is a bad idea. though, i have to assume such a person would get struck by lightning the second they even thought about telling someone it's a bad idea, universe has it out for that timeline.
My last poop caused a resonance cascade that poor Gordon Freeman had to clean up.

This admonition article is a banger. The admonition team consistently puts out some of the best work on the wiki. And I'm happy to see you covering it.
Agreed, Like 4 of my top 10 articles are from this series.
As long as it isn’t yet ANOTHER nihilistic K-class ego-stroking light novel where the Foundation does absolutely nothing.
Feels like a big oversight to not anticipate what shutting down the machine might mean. Especially for a retrocausal device like this.
Admonition is awesome. 6820 and 6747 are some of the craziest fictional entities ever
On the verge of being homeless. Laying down alone ready to cry. Yet I was happy to see you uploaded. I’ll get to sleep while focusing on your video. Not everything else
I'm in a similar boat. Shit sucks, but I wish you luck.
Wish you both all the best, you need it.
Love the Admonition series. They're such lovely balls of parascientific techno-babble.
I wouldn't say it's technobabble because there's a consistent internal logic to most of it
Love the combination of poking the paradoxical bear and actual practically of disposing of scp waste. I also have a feeling the waste definitions are say a lot more about what's going on than anything about waste.
45 minute part 1. We finna eat
Thanks man, today is my birthday and I wake up to see a multi-part scp. We ain’t just eating good, we are eating cake!
Happy birthday
@@calebhumphrey8220 thanks
Hey, we're birthday buddies! Happy Birthday!
@@WD_Gaster66 happy birthday too man
What a G releasing this right when all us night owls are going to bed.😂 this is why this channels just better
I pity and salute this department, for they sure are trying to dispose of things that make even dirty sewage and nukage unnaturally tame. Way beyond Marvel's Damage Control parameters, even.
In the meantime, the Foundation sorely needs to lessen familial relations on their ranks. Also, that Chrono Legionnaire modus operandi against said junk surely felt wrong.

Hey man, thanks for being there. I've had a really rough day and this is exactly what I needed. You're a gem
Hey bro hope you're having a better day and sending some digital positive support 🤗
Hooe you weeks been good to you and a merry Christmas mate
Nothing quite brightens my 3am, like an SCP explorer.
It's 3 am here too dude and your not alone. I'm here watching this with you 😊

Yeah let's goo
“A momentary abatement.”
I can’t think of a better narrator than you, thank you for the great work!!
Hey man! I have been listening to your videos for a long time, almost from the very start of your SCP series. I absolutely love your narration and your unbelievable upload discipline. I hope you take care of yourself properly. You are a legend. Love and best wishes to you and your loved ones !
Bending time and space to get rid of some hard to destroy turds?
What could possibly go wrong?
I like how the admonition foundation does absolutely crazy things for the smallest of inconvenience
A person died? Become god and create a new reality
There’s a lot of waste? Create a time machine that manipulates the timeline
The waste wasn't a "small inconvenience", it was a catastrophe waiting to happen.
@@evanhunt1863 i mean as they said, there’s probably better ways then manipulating the timeline to get rid of waste
Darn, was kinda hoping for Slaanmas for next week, oh well time to listen.
This is like a secret-wars style crossover between pataphysics, toxic substances control, and timey-wimey stuff, I am SO hyped!
My favorite work podcast, thank you for this video!
I just noticed you're nearly at 1 million subs, I can't believe how much you've grown over the last two years I've been listening to your videos.
You really deserve all your success. I hope you have a great holiday (which ever one you celebrate) and I hope next year you get 1 million subs.
SCP-1730 needed these guys!
Does anybody else miss when there were more articles about a scary monster that killed people in creative and otherworldly ways? I can get behind more complex stuff like pattern screamers but the scale bloat of recent articles is boring to me personally, every second SCP is a world ending threat and the others are an ancient building discovered to have futuristic tech in it. Thoughts?
Just you
I know what you mean. We might just be nostalgic for the old days, tho.
@@michaeldavis8250 Fair, but simple entries are still around and still being produced (they're actually common), it's just that most SCP commentary channels aren't interested in covering something that isn't large in scope/has low word count
Ah, today is a great day when we are blessed with another SCP. Thank you TES!❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
Love it! I always love your work. Cannot wait to see part 2.
Another great video, thanks for all your hard work and effort to curate good stories
Man I have been watching your channel for years I love your soothing voice it’s nice for falling asleep plus your topics are always so interesting it keeps me up!
Whoooooo new Exploring Series. Glad to see some two part content. Love SCP
Always listen to you at work can't wait to listen to part two.
Wow, the end there had a lot of fancy science mumbo jumbo that would all would all be boiled down to “it’s gone to sh*t sir*
Looking forward to the rest, haven't had time to catch up on the recent readings, so I'm in for a good time while I wait for part 2.
I love multi part vídeos. Keep doing your great work and have a good week
I’m glad to get a see video so fresh off the press, I’ve been listening to your videos every night for 2+ years
The madman is back! Enjoy the holidays and take a nice deserved rest
Absolutely love your work man 😊 thank you so much for what you do!
I have been waiting for this video for weeks ever since I saw this scp, thank you, TES
A return to classic scp form....fine show good sir... 👏
Another excellent delivery TES. Love all the content recently just don't burn out!
P.s. my "local know-a-sphere" is always disrupted.
Excellent narration! Keep it up, mate 👍
The guy behind LOTUS screwed over *the entire Foundation.* Wow.
Cheers man, I do love listening to your scp logs.
PART ONE!!!! Oh my god thank you
Man, you've helped my insomnia so much. So thank you.

At this point anytime i heard Placeholder McD is involved in an scp, i'll just assume something horrible happened, that SCP-INTEGER really had it out for the guy huh.
I love you exploring series. You a real one Fr 🙏❤
I love these long multiparters!
I dunno about the rest of you but when I heard Dr Dearing's name I imagined the Dr from the game "Control". This would be right up his alley so to speak.
Im not kidding this my 4th time coming back to watch this. You're the greatest
I audibly swore at multiple points listening to this- I loved it
Dude i wish i liked the 40k content as much as you live making it. The scp content is amazing. Maybe you should go back to the start of 40k as a primer.
I love this channel so damn much.
Thank you for my good sleep. I've been trying to finish this for like a month now.
I really hope that you're still enjoying doing SCP videos and don't feel like you have to for us to enjoy your content.
44:35 Thank you for throwing in a Doctor Who reference, love that
saving this for my commute ❤ love that acroamatic abatement
You know exactly what i need at 3am while high
havent had the chance to listen in a while but im glad to be back im srue this will be a banger like all the others
Another multipart banger we got here
Placeholder Mc. Doctorate is my new favorite person in the SCP universe
‘Person’
I don't understand why no studio is making movies on SCP stories.
Be thankful, based on the track record of today's current writers and showrunners, they would butcher it, commercialize and copyright the concept for profit and end up making it lame, tame and sanitized. I've witnessed many of my favorite franchises go to crap so me Knowing how bad it could actually get I'm happy with simple document readings for now 😂
thanks for the bedtime stories fr
Thank you for covering Admonition 💜
Ah yes, the most famous member of the foundation, *Placeholder McDoctorate*
Hmm
McChicken
THANK YOU FOR THIS!!
I still didn’t get to watch your content since October I want to binge it all but work
I love the admonition series so much
I recall there being an SCP that came in 3 varieties: one that erased something from existence, one that erased all memories of something from existence (I think), and one that (presumably) retroactively causes things to have never existed in the first place (and therefor as far as the foundation is aware it has never been tested on anything)
I don't remember the number, but I'm pretty sure you're thinking of an article from the End of Death canon. Its mainlist title is (I believe) "Anti-Baby Gas". The first version of the gas renders any organism exposed to it sterile; the second version alters the past so that the organism was _always_ sterile; and the third version of the gas (which the Foundation states has never been tested) retroactively alters the past to make the organism's _parents_ always have been sterile, removing the organism from existence.
@@christopherhale3140 That’s it! Thank you!

This is one of the good later series articles
I can’t believe the guy is really called Placeholder McDoctorate 😂
Oh boy a new department to learn about!
New video! Exploring Series?! oh, shit.... it's already 3 am?!
Aw geez, Rick. We really screwed up again, didn't we?
Some classic foundation fuckery-wuckery. Thanks for the video Mr. Exploring
