This song is dedicated to their late basist named Tim who passed recently. He loved Jurrasic Park and Star Wars and stuff of the sort. The ending part sang by Andrew about the friendship he had with Tim always hurts.
If you're going to keep going down the DGD rabbit hole (highly recommended) please listen to "Man Of The Year" Live from Tree City Sessions Part 2. Another legendary DGD song
I enjoy the live version, but i always suggest listening to the studio version because Tilians vocals in the studio version get a little more gritty and harsh than they do in the live version
Hello, listen to more DGD songs, I recommend some, there were 3 vocalists in the band, the first was Jonny Craig, his most notable songs are: And I Told Them I Invented Times New Roman, Lemon Meringue Tie, Blue Dream. The second was Kurt: Uneasy Hearts Weigh the Most, NASA, Strawberry Swisher pt.2 and current singer Tilian: We Own The Night, Inspire The Liars, Stroke God Millionaire. I'm glad to know that DGD found stability as a band, now with Andrew as a permanent member of DGD. Tim's death was very hard for the band but just like this song says "DGD always stay united". Greetings🇵🇪
Thanks for your reaction, i'm love it :) I've been a fan of theirs for a long time... I offer their cool material for future reactions: 2015: We own the night, On the run, Eagle vs Crows 2016: Chucky vs giant tortoise, Young Robot, Deception 2018: Son of Robot, Hair Song, Gospel Burnout 2020: Prisoner, One in a million, Strawberry's Wake, Born to fail, Say Hi, Nothing Shameful, the album itself can be fully recommended 2022: Synergy, Ember, One man's cringe, Polka dot dobbins, again - you can listen to the whole album Besides: they have their own animation universe. If you want to get acquainted with their animated history, then watch the clips for the following songs: Stroke God, Millionaire - 2015 Young Robot - 2016 Inspire The Liars - 2016 Son of Robot - 2018 (but in this song there will be references to other clips outside the animation universe, but these are kind of spin-offs, not necessary to watch, haha) List of these spin-offs: * Midnight Crusade - 2018 * Betrayed By The Game - 2016 * Strawberry Swisher, Pt. 3 - 2013 And the last video on the list for the song - Death Of The Robot With Human Hair - 2013 By the year I marked the release time of the album, which includes the track
Good rundown. It'd be awesome if she went through their whole discography like Chris Moore did over the past few years. I think she'd be able to appreciate their growth over time
Been loving the recent content, especially the DGD ones haha 😄 would love to see what you think of "choking on butterflies" by Lüdo Some big react channels like Ohrion and Metalbirb have you already reacted to it, but I haven't seen any singers share their opinion on it yet
This was awesome! Love this song and can't wait to hear more. If you guys liked this you should check out "Retrace Embrace" by Fauxtrot! They're in a similar genre and y'all might dig it 😊
If you'd like to hear Tilian's highest vocal note recorded in a song then I suggest listening to "Sunshine" by Tides of Man (Tilian's band before joining DGD) ToM is extremely underrated in my opinion, Tilian's vocals are beautiful and he even does some harsher more gritty vocals on the albums as well. Great reaction, will be looking forward to more. Edit: The note is an A5 and is a background note, not one he hits when singing a lyric

Thank you for sharing that. It’s beautiful that they did that
Tilian is such a uniquely gifted vocalist. Holy hell.
