This is one of the most relaxing flying fpv plane I’ve ever flown!! Love it!
7kg servo? That's pretty heavy. I'm glad you recommended the 5kg servo.
Whatever you do - don't make it go fast! The manual is clear that you shouldn't exceed 50km/h or do aerobatics with it! It has really thin wingtips and if you exceed those speed they can catch really bad flutter which will cause a death spiral and crash.
This is a gentle cruiser, if you want something fast and small buy a Sonicmodell Skyhunter Racing - it can go really fast no problem.
I’ve got the zohd 250g, it’s fun and fairly fast with 3s flying and yet still gives a reasonable flight time, but on 2s wow, great flight times if you’re just cruising, and the stabilisation is awesome.
Yeah, I am looking to buy it with a FlySky FS-IA6B receiver and I6 controller. Just don't know about battery yet as I want a long flying time
Nothing wrong with yank and bank, yeah, you can't do trick flat turns but.... Justin, you put out such high quality videos!

Hi: i have not flown for over 20 years. However, I like rudder. So, I was thinking maybe I can do a pull pull system where the servo is attached at the boom near the fuselage. Strings can be tied to the control horn for a pull pull rudder. Or another way is to sink a micro servo into the vertical stab itself with a short control arm to the rudder.
: ) Seems like a cool plane. Why rudder? Well, for a fpv, where the idea is to pretend I am flying the plane, a coordinated turn seems like it would be nice. : )
Nice! I would like to see more modular plug and play set ups like that... it would make building so much easier... I don't like the idea of soldering things together... not that skilled...

A suggestion; you should hang a few blankets around that room to kill the echoes and clean up your audio. In places it's hard to understand what you're saying.
Great review, but please, please, please-use an external lavalier microphone! The acoustics in your house make your voice difficult to hear (at least to my old ears!).

It's not. ZOHD has atrocious quality control. Don't be surprised 8f you will need to repair it before the first flight.

I would but still waiting on a smaller pusher type plane from banggood that I ordered on may 9th and still not received. It takes way too long from china. Lost patience to wait for orders from them unless its the usa warehouse.
How to control the quad or plane by camera view? Let me explain: The camera is on a 2-axis stabilization gimbal - the pilot controls where or what the camera is looking at, and the autopilot accordingly directs the plane or quad. Is it possible to implement this in inav and how? Thanks!

Im making mw own 2s 3000mah. Apparently gives around 45 min flighttime. The zohd ones ares 3500mah. But "less" cheap. Obviously but they are good.

I'd like to pair Drift, Kopilot, DJI Air Unit and my new Frsky X20. Any idea if they will all play nicely together? I'm assuming the Drift and Kopilot will work with the DJI Air Unit since I'll only be using the Air Unit for video feed while the R/C link will be on the X20, but would value your knowledge on it. Lastly, will the PnP version have everything needed or do I need the FPV version? (I hate spending the extra on the FPV version if I won't be using most of the parts for it.) Thanks!

My zohd drift stock motor has overheated and melt the motor cables with 3s setup (2 blade stock prop, stock motor and 45c 3s 850mAh battery)
because when u use 3s u use the tri blade not the bi blade...
Would a ZOHD Lionpack 18650 2S1P 3500mAh 7.4V Li-ion Battery fit this glider. Also do you need to add some monokote on the wing tips to protect from crashes. People say they are flimsy.

That is the video transmitter antenna.
I think this kit is total bobbins. It slopes okay but the wing flex is horrendous and the flight characteristics under power is shite. This is an AD not a review.
The kopilot is a good bit of kit though.
That ZOHD VC400 camera sucks with it's awful lens distortion and bland image. There are so much better nano sized cameras out there now by Foxeer and Runcam.
It's their own brand which is probably why they put it on there, otherwise nobody would buy that camera.
