- An update of what I have been up to the past few weeks in the world of scale modelling.
Which includes finishing Tamiya's 1/72 F4U-1D Corsair, 1/48 F-16 and Kinetic's 1/48 EA-6B Prowler.

Wow, that Prowler looks amazing!!
Thanks, I am happy with how it turned out.
I've always like your videos.. I keep on seeing your videos on the F-18 1/32 scale on the growler I just bought 3 of them a single seat aircraft and 2 2 seat aircraft it is going to be challenging ..
Excited to see progress on the Bradley, hopefully you have a quick recovery. Cheers!
Thanks buddy
Get better soon mate!
Thanks buddy. This was filmed earlier in the week, already feeling a lot better.
I love the 360 view. It looks like you do also!
When I turned the camera on the tripod?
Want to get myself a resin printer at some point. Put my CADD skills that I had at school to use. Been quite a while
I've been considering a resin printer. The plastic PLA printers just take up too much footprint. How smelly does the resin printer get? My concern is our 'workshop' area is right near the living areas as well, so I didn't want to do breathing in fumes or exposing anyone to anything toxic. Is yours also well ventilated or are those concerns less critical?
I have a separate workshop so smells are not an issue. For me the resin doesn’t smell much, it is the IPA which smells the worse and gives the headaches.
I personally wouldn’t be comfortable having a resin printer close to an area where my kids and pets are. Or where anyone sleeps.
That being said many do and there are tents/ enclosures and venting systems you can find online. Just adds more expense.
For me it is the stickiness of the resin. Have to wear gloves to protect skin and everything you touch gets sticky from the resin and a pain to clean. In that respect PLA is way easier and zero clean up.
@@RWHobbies Gotcha, yeah we've played around with the UV resin and that stuff also seems very sticky / semi annoying to deal with. PLA was certainly easy on the 'clean up' but the results as you've noted are not as consistent and for these scales I never really found a great application. Like you I ran into enough problems I just sold mine and recovered most of the cost. We're working on a more separate workshop for those more 'messy' items. I could see myself using it a lot more than I used the PLA printer. Thanks for the reply and confirming the research I had done.
