It was a very big day in the history of Fulton, Missouri when President Truman and Winston Churchill paid their visit. During his address at Westminster College Mr Churchill spoke of the situation in Europe and the "iron curtain" which has descended between the east and west of the continent.

Churchill was a great man. Sure, he had his flaws, we all do. But he was the right man at the right time. I can't imagine how the Battle of Britain would have played out or if there would have even been one had it not been for the encouraging words of Winston Churchill. I doubt we'll ever see men like him again in the future.
I was born 76 years after this and no one including the college kids that go there know how important this town is. This shit mattered. Ps I was born and raised.
76 years after 1946 is 2022. You must be very precocious.

Can anyone tell me the name of the song the band is playing at the beginning? @0:16
I am not for sure, but it would not surprise me if it was a march by John Philip Sousa. EDIT: I think I might have found it. You can download it from the Marine's website. It makes sense that the The President's Own Marine Corps band would be playing. www.marineband.marines.mil/Audio-Resources/The-Complete-Marches-of-John-Philip-Sousa/The-Liberty-Bell-March/ It is such a small clip I can't be for sure.
