Would love to hear what you'd like to see next and what specialty in dentistry is most interesting for you to see! We have pediatrics, radiology and oral surgery coming up again in the next few weeks
Great question! Preclinic starts in January of our first year. We practice on manikins with plastic teeth for 2 years before we move into the clinic for patient care in the third year.
@@SmilesPending hey just one more question thanks. whats the rent like for most grad students. obviously its going to differ from location, roomates, so on but generally.
Depends on where you live and where the school is. Columbia students pay less than NYU bc the neighborhood is less expensive. Also living on campus is cheaper than renting an apartment. Most people pay between 1000-1500 per month. I have a whole video breaking down cost of attendance on my channel if you want to know more
lol it’s a great profession but it’s not for me. Most of the work is done outside of patient care and I like restorative stuff like fillings and crowns more.
