See, ppl will keep telling such things, don’t let it bother you so much. There’s saturation & competition in almost all fields. It’s our hard work, dedication & our passion for our work that’ll make our life easier. You need to figure out your interest while choosing career. There are a lot of videos available on UA-cam that will help you to gain an insight of the degree/career you are thinking to choose. BDS is a very good degree. You can choose BDS over MBBS. Choosing a BDS seat is not wrong, according to me, though some consider BDS to be worthless. There are many dentists who are living a sound life, sometimes even better lives than most other doctors. To be true, choosing MBBS over BDS is a trend every medical aspirant wants to follow, either due to societal pressure or due to a pre-set chip in the mind. Don't worry, be yourself and choose what you want more. Believe me! I never wanted to go for MBBS & it was clear in my head from Day 1 that I want to opt for BDS only! Hope this helps! Good luck :) 🤞

After completing BDS if you work in Government hospital (less chances but still) you'll earn around 50-80K as a fresher. In case of private hospital (Mostly possible) you will earn around 40k to 70K as a fresher. If you have your own clinic, you will earn that is countless 😅. Also you can teach in collages as professors and earn around 70-1k easily (with hospital postings)

I would say ADJUST & ADAPT! It’s rare to find a dental chair for left handed in dental colleges. But, don’t try to operate from right side, if you are a lefty then, always operate the patient from left side only even if the dental chair is the one for right handed.

Didi aapka govt mai ya private bcos mere 196 marks aaye the neet mai iss baar 400 tak aa skte hai toh mujhe kya krna padega
I’m in private college. Cut-off varies greatly each year. I think for 400 you can easily get a BDS seat. Best luck!
