I have a 2013 S60 T5. In sport mode it's great. It's the nicest car I have driven on a highway. With cruise control at 60 mph you will get 30 mpg. Mine was made in Belgium, but the new ones are made in China. Get a used one with low miles and you have a fantastic car. The trunk is large enough unless you are carrying a dead NBA center. The buttons in the console are fine, I don't want a touch screen there. My only complaint is it took me a while to figure out how to put it into sport mode; put it into Drive, then push the shift handle to the left.
Actually if you press the my car button then my s60 and turn off DSTC it will activate sport mode. Sorry this was 5 years later you probably already figured it out😂
I'm at least 3% sure Volvo isn't going anywhere, why would they facelift almost every single model if they were leaving? And the new xc90 is coming very soon, why would they develop an all new SUV for only 1 model year?
Is that Inline-6 set sideways in the engine compartment? Did they do that because there's a FWD or AWD option or to afford more leg-room inside the car? I'm sure they want as much space as possible inside the car but does that REALLY warrant turning the engine 90° or is it something Volvo has always done?
The phone pad is great. You need to make a call, theres a phone pad right there.
Best seats in the industry
Coming back to look at this review and having no touchscreen is a big plus for me. Try using the touchscreen without looking...
I like Volvo's retro looking minimalistic cabin.the new touch screens are sometimes a bit tacky and lacking a bit of style.
The year 2022 and still looks better than the current version guess it's time to drive one..
Let´s not forget they were the first, to have 3 point seat belts !!!!

id rather have buttons than be cool
Very nice design. ..but no manual option. :(
Good review and good car. Keep them coming KBB
It's nice on the outside. Ok on the inside in terms of design
How reliable are these vehicles long term?
Micah, can you do a "making of" video to see how you conduct your reviews? They're the best!
I have the 2017 model its the best comfy safe evrything you need
reliable too?
Is the upkeep / maintenance expensive on these ?
A touch screen phone pad is not easier to use than acutal buttons. It certainly isn't safer.
i like this new way of reviewing, not the old you may or may not like crap

10 years later. And you were right!
nice review
Kelly Blue Book has to update it's videos... :(
Just happy that Chinese Geely left Volvo to do its own thing.
Volvos are usually FWD or AWD, so it's logical to have the engine sideways.
It's for safety also the engine rolls under the cab, instead of going in the cab, where you are....lol
That color is awesome
i totally agree
Did he say pulstar and why did they show the pulstar blue, are you trying to hit at something.

Apparently it’s safer to have a transverse engine layout which is why the switched to traverse in the 90s and it stuck ever since.
Large screens are horrible
micah you are awesome!
:22 -- don't forget ABBA.
Very good car,but i'd still have a C class if it were my money :)
Jurgen DX and you’ll get blown away by the s60 ..I drive both and the s60 is way faster !
i think you are talking about saab...
lol not true at all.
killer exterior.
dead boring interior.
Boring is good , focus on the drive.
