It’s really crazy how one singular thing can have such a big impact on the golf swing. Everyone has had that moment at least once where their swing was just effortless and the ball just jumps off the face with a penetrating ball flight. Kinematic sequencing is so important to the golf swing and just one small thing can completely throw it off. Great job guys. Keep up the incredible content.

I really appreciate you two discussing training aids that you find valueable. There are so many products in the golf industry that are worthless. Thank you for taking on this topic!

Great Video guys. I've had one for a couple years and gotten extremely frustrated using it...trying to make full swings. Using this for 3/4 swings with any club will help everyone that buys this aid because of your video. Once I quit trying to hit my stock yardages with it the benefits were immediate. You guys helped a lot of golfers with this video.

The bit at @14:00 about 160 yard shots with a wedge is one of the biggest differences between Tiger and most other elite golfers (early Rory especially). Tiger is the best at hitting his irons "80%" which takes spin off his super spinny golf ball when he needs to, yet his ball still has enough spin to hold a green. He couldn't do that with a tp5x for example. Also why he only really hits his PW and 56 within 150 yards, he flights those better than anyone.

I heard Ian and Matt say Tiger plays some of the weakest lofts on tour too.

I totally agree with this. I recently had a loss of sequence, but last week I just had to remind myself to turn the body, not the arms. It really is night and day. If you feel you're not playing as well as you have been... this is a solid drill.

Love the point you make about Larry and starting small. I've recently started playing fades and draws with 3/4 GW and PW shots and the face awareness it's given me almost instantly gave me SO much more control over my driver. Baby steps. A minute to learn, a lifetime to master.

Kymer won the US Open by double digits that year. That was my first experience seeing this type of training aid as well. Justin Rose uses it a lot as well to help him rotate and stay connected.

Morikawa uses an old golf glove stuck under his left arm pit while making swings in practice to feel connected...works great and seems to keep you in posture as another bonus!
He attaches the glove to the neck lanyard so he doesn't have to keep picking it up.

I am going to be totally honest here and say that when I first saw the title of the video I immediately clicked on it hoping to see a golf ball with some sort of homing device fitted. Clubface to green, guaranteed, every time! The reality was just as interesting though. I have one of these already, just need to reinflate it and start using it properly.

When I am on point with my irons these are almost exclusively the only shots I play you have such great control over spin and trajectory swinging like this. It has also done wonders for my pitching game 60 yards and in feeling connected.
