I agree with the winch and assortment of recovery gear like a tree saver and a snatch strap, I keep soft shackles too. Best thing done to mine is replacing the wire with rope and added the Warn hub to allow me to use my phone while recovering and not having to reach into the vehicle and not be able to see what I was doing.
This is my next purchase. I had a YXZ but had to have surgery so sold the YXZ to pay off the debts. Starting to save again in order to get the RMAX. The only thing that could screw it all up is the economy.
More or less a personal preference. If you’re doing a lot of rock sections or need a little more clearance they’re the way to go. Personally there haven’t been a ton of situations we’ve been in where 30’s couldn’t handle it.
I can tell you from experience a front windshield without a rear window is useless when it's snowing or when following other SxS's on snow covered trails...the snow just swirls over the roof and right in the back of your head and will cover the complete cab with snow including the people in it...I went out and bought a rear window after the first time out while it was snowing both me and my wife got soaked.
100%. A winch, windshield, and stereo are our top three must haves for the machine. We run our folding poly down a good bit come summer time, but the oem glass Yamaha windshields are top notch as well.
Hey I tried clicking the links and they keep going to the Yamaha motor main page. Can you guide me to the mounts that you got for the 4 pod lights in the bumper? Thanks and cheers
I was going to buy the RMAX , but now I am told that Yamaha has discontinued the green one ? What a terrible decision , IMO Now I might have to go with the Polaris general 🤷🏻♂️
Colors will change from year to year. The XTR is still a current model but is black/orange for 2022 instead of the green/gold color combination for 2021. Still the same machine and trim package.
I liked the green one and was told they don't make them anymore. That's ok as my husband and I both like the black/carbon metallic one better (we saw both in person). Such a nice looking machine! Just a long wait to get it.
Any regrets with2 seater over the 4. I want the 2 even though I have no use for the dump bed really. Most people I talk to say to get the 4 as you don’t lose much. I really have no use for 4 seats either so would probably just pull them out
We run both of them. Honestly if you were to blinding get in each machine, it would be hard to tell the difference in most instances. I personally prefer the 2 seater with the bed, but a full time 4 seater will be in my future in a few years.
I have two Labradors that love riding till they get to a safe drop off point then they run 8 to 0 miles almost every evening ! Snow or powder stops me when I get high centered wondering if chains would help out being tracks are so expensive please let me know if chains are an option thanks great video 👍😎🇺🇸

Thanks very much from a Australian viewer Cheers

You have some great videos. Thank you. I'm interested in picking up a rmax sport someday. Why do a lot of people switch to 32" tires?

You definitely get a lot of air circulation, but keeping the on coming cold air off of your definitely helps.
Front windshield definitely circulates stuff back into the rear...
It will do the same with dust/dirt in the summer….reason I got a back window.
The winshield in my opinion is very useful on a dry dusty trail you don't get it in your eyes

Cost of factory glass?
I have an RMAX . My wish is for a nice high tonneau cover
Yamaha just released a new bed rack for the RMAX that you could possibly have an upholstery shop attach something to

They’re from Amazon but it looks like the suppliers keep changing
Thats a nice buggy. What offset beadlocks did you go with?
5+2 offset on the wheels
Which PRP cage bag is that? I don’t see it on their website.
After getting in contact with PRP it looks like they unfortunately disconnected that cage bag, but do offer other wolverine storage options
Nice video and well done accessories. What light bar did you go with?
It’s a 42” single row off Amazon. Rigidhorse I believe. A 40” or 42” bar will work with the EMP mounts
@@YammerHammers awesome, thank you for the reply and info..
@@dustinbauman9475 anytime. Hopefully it gives guys some guidance on what they want to add to their machines
HOW ABOUT A LINK TO THE CAGE BAGE? THE ONE BETWEEN THE SEATS....
Prp unfortunately disconnected this bag recently but they do offer some nice overhead storage stuff now.

Very nice . How many miles on it.
On these particular machine around 1,000. We have a few other machines that we spread the miles out on depending what time of the year it is.
I cant even find a Limited to look at--let alone buy--Your lucky--or have connections.
Use the Yamaha locator on their website. There are a good many of them in dealerships now. The LE is a great machine for sure
