- Paris is hosting the World Triathlon Championships on the Seine for the first time. Sophia, a brilliant scientist, learns from Mika, a young environmental activist, that a large shark is swimming deep in the river. To avoid a bloodbath at the heart of the city, they have no choice but to join forces with Adil, the Seine river police commander.

Saw this one last week, not a good movie but enjoyable if you don't mind/like to make fun of how dumb everybody is. The huge number of old bombs in the river and how that somehow raised the water lever so much made no sense
Also where do the sharks get the energy from to grow? How can they grow that fast? They give birth to real sharks, not eggs. Growing needs a lot of energy and produces a lot of heat. There is not enough fish in the river for hundreds of sharks growing to around 2 meters in just a month, they would have to eat a lot of humans. A human provides them with around 125k calories, so if there were 1.000 sharks, they would need, at least, 250 people per day to grow to 2 meters in 1 month. It's impossible, that all the smaller sharks were hidden 🤷♂️
If a handful of old WW2 bombs could do that, I assume that all of Europe was underwater from the late 1930s until at least the 1960s (15+ years needed to properly drain the continent).

Crocodiles also never stop to grow, but they slow down a lot. Still, some crocodiles are over 4 meters when they are around 8, then they still grow multipe centimeters a year, and 50+ years old, they reach 6 meters and more. Some live up to over 100 years, and there are reports about 7+ meter crocodiles.
There are simular reports about sharks. The biggest white shark reported was around 6 meters in 1987, but some say, there are 7 meter shars out there 🤷♂️

Take a sample from a 7-meter shark underwater, it will be fine and you can just swim away or fight if it objects.
This is one of the most accurate films in a while. The actions of the Officials is exactly spot on. 100% the event would have commenced, capitalism requires it... BTW hats of to the writers with such a realistic outcome. (Just a bit shocked that they used the French, when clearly this would happen in any of states in America.)
