    That's one negative thing about leaving NYC, is the ability to leave the car and jump on a train to get anywhere.

      Your city was built around public transpiration, unlike most modern cities.

    I've yet to take the light rail. I do remember driving by the stop at Alma School and Main one night and seeing the cops talking to someone on the platform, and standing behind the cops was a guy dressed as Batman. I tried to get a picture

      Believe it or not, I feel like that SOME of the natives are less accepting of Mexicans than Blacks. Overall, I don't see racism as an issue in the Phoenix Valley. Could be due to SO MANY people relocating here from other parts of the country due to this channel. :P Love you Zonies!

    - i'm from new jersey and NYC. I wanted to know why did you get a new jersey tatoo but not a NYC? what age did you move from one state to the other?

    • @ArizonaLiving
      @ArizonaLiving  5 років тому

      I was born in Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn till age 15. I then moved to NJ and initially hated it. It took some time but I eventually grew to love it. I do plan on getting a Brooklyn tattoo on the same arm at some point.

      @@ArizonaLiving cool story and cool tatoo. i moved from the bronx to New jersey at 9, although my extended family was still in nyc. why didnt you like jersey at first? i actually liked it. sorry for all the questions.

      I went from living in a city to living in the country. It was just very different and took some time to get adjusted. Also didn't like that I needed a car for everything.

      @@ArizonaLiving last question, even though you cant leave do you still prefer living jersey over arizona or has your opinion changed?

      I miss certain things about NJ...REAL trees, lakes, great public schools, proximity to NYC and beaches. The change of seasons (minus the snow), the culture and "Rules don't apply to me" attitude. Authentic bagels, pizza, etc. However, as I've said on the videos, I don't miss the snow, traffic, high state income tax, high property tax, and high cost of real estate. AZ has 3-4 months of insane heat, but otherwise, it's fine for me. If I really get home-sick, I can visit Prescott.

    Airport is easy. You just take an elevator and then sky train into airport. If she lugged to the bus, she did it wrong.
