exactly yes it is creepy but the point/context here is he discussed it with her prior that he wants to hang out with them but because it would be weird to meet ji-a he said he won't talk hell just follow them so she was totally in agreement it's only like he followed her w/o her knowledge and was stalking her. even though his approach of blackmailing isn't right he's just too forceful and i think the writer deliberately wants to show us how messed up he is so that when he has a character development it will show why pi-young was the best choice for him

At first I thought maybe Dong Ma has a saviour complex, in that his romantic partners in the show that we've seen been damsel in destress types like Gabin or hinted with Pi-young's scream. But after ep. 6 I'm just speechless. I do think Mr Seo is dying. When he asked the taxi to stop outside the church, i honestly thought he was going to propose. Wanting to go from 0-100 in a relationship feels like there's something behind it, something time sensitive.

I have to say that I found the “dinner” scene sequences fascinating. It had a ‘art house’ feel to it - The direction and camera work with the food/ the choices of food and presentation - totally bizarre and sensual, The conversation/ dialogue in juxtaposition to the elegance of the food, the wine, the atmosphere. Bizarre and Sensual. I had to watch it twice more ( ff through other scenes to get a continuity ‘feel’) Anyway- loving your videos Thanks

Dong ma is straight up red flag, narcistic and full of harassment towards her. She clearly stated she doesn't want the idea of marriage with him and I don't see him as someone deserving. There's a saying "Do as I say, not as I do" she might be slightly moved with all the words but she- herself knows it won't do good. He talks as if their marriage plan is just a business talk, pitching to her and selling himself what a "good" man he is for her but doesn't want to be judged by his past actions. He clearly have self awareness that he is being cocky, and doesn't have considerations- just from the number of ex-girlfriends he has and excuses to justify his actions to avoid to be considered as a cheating b*stard just doesn't sits right. 50 mins of watching them talk with each other bored the hell out of me.
Also... maybe there is more into it that Dong ma wants- maybe there is something we don't know about Pi-Young's father that maybe- the father is a big shot in a well known company and if both get married then it will be beneficial to Dong ma BUT HELL NO. There's no way because I'm just creating a new scenario that doesn't show any hints in the series.
I love your theory of Dongma’s motivations for pursuing Piyoung romantically. Seo Ban is literally the only person Dongma cares about that I can tell and it wouldn’t be too unreasonable to believe that he would do anything to make his brother happy. But you’re a better writer than the actual writer we get for this show, so not getting my hopes up.
What in the creepy stalker azz foolishness was this last episode? Why are they making Pi-young out to be some naive, foolish school girl falling for the shenanigans? Season 2 Pi-young would have been like, "What? Bring my beloved daughter around some virtual stranger who wants to get his weirdo kicks watching us walk around? Hell naw! Sir, kick rocks." But Season 3 Pi-young is witn it? I'm side-eying this whole situation. All that was missing was "Every Breath You Take" by The Police playing in the background. Dong Ma is trash. They could have least did a time lapse interval to show he somewhat decently waited to approach Pi-young. Damn, they just coulda flashed "one month later" on the screen. He left Ga bin and her horseshoe bangs in tatters and shambles while he was at some swanky restaurant impressing the next chic. I can't. i think what we need to get here is pi-young has just been through a traumatic experience finding out her mum passed + yu-shin's infidelity at the same damn time she's vulnerable only explanation. secondly yes dong ma is weird and an asshole but he informed her he wanted to tag along and would be following (obviously cz he cant meet ji-a like this)though he blackmailed her she was AWARE he'd be around them(she was even looking for him at some point strangely she also seems to enjoy it) and eventually agreed to this so its not like he was stalking her w/o her knowledge. lastly, pi-young never folded or agreed to his advances i rewatched and she kept ignoring his marriage/child topics changing subjects or not answering i think she sat through it out of respect for mr.seo which she mentioned. the only is she wasnt rude about it and seemed calmer than usual 1. she was so shocked 2. a part of her is also lonely its very obvious.
What can you say about those Seo brothers huh? They don't mess around. The two are very determined when it comes to matters of the heart. I'm still Team Si-Ban even though their relationship is moving at an accelerated pace. I am concerned about U-ram and how he will take the news that Mr. Seo might be his new dad when he is so worried about the state of his own dad. I hate to see the kid in such pain. And speaking of an accelerated pace.......Dong-ma just went from zero to sixty with Pi-young. This guy! I mean I don't think he is psycho but considering his background I can understand his behavior. He was basically raised as an only child and his parents intensely doted on him. He is what would be known in S Korea as a Chaebol (a kid from a super rich family that runs a successful business) so he probably never wanted for anything. He is good looking and a sharp dresser so women probably fall at his feet without hesitation. So what's it to him if he dumps his fiancee to go after a woman he has only met once before and heard screaming at the doctor's office to ask for her hand in marriage and want her to have his child? Just another day in the life of the rich and arrogant. I am surprised that Pi-young hasn't told this guy to get lost but I do think that she mostly did that out of respect for Mr. Seo. I always saw Pi-young as being pretty pragmatic but I guess even she can fall for the charms of someone like Dong-ma. I mean on paper he is definitely a catch although his impetuous nature should be a big red flag for Pi-young. Dong-ma has caught her at a very vulnerable point in her life though as she is recently divorced and just lost her mother. This guy is swooping in at just the right time to take advantage. I think that foreshadowing in S2 where we see she and Dong-ma walking down the aisle maybe coming to fruition whether we like it or not. At least she got to eat good in this episode. The director must be a foodie because the many close up shots of all the food in this series is beyond extra. All I have to say about Ga-bin is she should have known better. Sa-hyeon 's parents and maybe Hye-ryung might be looking for a reconciliation in the marriage of Sa-hyeon and Hye-ryung, but I don't think Sa-hyeon is any where near that notion as he is still hardcore mourning Song Won. Sa-hyeon's dad's machinations of getting those two back together may blow up in his face. And I hate to say this but I think this is not the last time we see Ghost Grandpa. I hope I'm wrong.

I don't like the buddy-buddy between mistress and ex-wife, but I sort of get it too. Years ago, when my fiance cheated on me, I felt anger at him but oddly not towards the other woman. I know that's a complete 180 from most modern scenarios where it seems the other-person gets the brunt of the anger and even fists. However, in my mind there was no promise of trust between me and the third party. Did I think badly of them for stooping so low as to sleep with someone in a relationship? Yes. However, that was pretty much it - a low opinion of their morals...not anger. The anger I reserved for the bottom feeder ex. Actually, if I met that girl today, I'd probably buy her a drink. As far as I'm concerned, she saved me some time, money, and trouble. Bottom-Feeder is now on his fourth or fifth wife and cheated on them all. Maybe PY is also sort of grateful for AM. After all, she no longer has to live her life trying to be the perfect wife. I would think that sort of existence rather exhausting.
My theory is that with the season 2 weird weddings, the only way Mr. Seo can be “married” to song won is that he’s gonna die. It’s gonna suck, but I predict him as being another surprise death in this season.

At first I thought maybe Dong Ma has a saviour complex, in that his romantic partners in the show that we've seen been damsel in destress types like Gabin or hinted with Pi-young's scream. But after ep. 6 I'm just speechless.
I do think Mr Seo is dying. When he asked the taxi to stop outside the church, i honestly thought he was going to propose. Wanting to go from 0-100 in a relationship feels like there's something behind it, something time sensitive.

The ratings are going to hit the roof because of your reviews...... not sure what the writers are thinking but they have lost the plot which is sad because there was potential of it being an awesome show. So far season 2 was the best until the last 5 min of the last episode 🤣
I have to say that I found the “dinner” scene sequences fascinating. It had a ‘art house’ feel to it -
The direction and camera work with the food/ the choices of food and presentation - totally bizarre and sensual,
The conversation/ dialogue in juxtaposition to the elegance of the food, the wine, the atmosphere.

I have never crazy scream so much before at the screen (at all Dong Ma and Piyoung’s scenes)!!!!
Piyoung deserves an honest man with morals. She also deserves to have excitement in her life as a woman not wife/mother.
Dong ma is straight up red flag, narcistic and full of harassment towards her. She clearly stated she doesn't want the idea of marriage with him and I don't see him as someone deserving. There's a saying "Do as I say, not as I do" she might be slightly moved with all the words but she- herself knows it won't do good. He talks as if their marriage plan is just a business talk, pitching to her and selling himself what a "good" man he is for her but doesn't want to be judged by his past actions. He clearly have self awareness that he is being cocky, and doesn't have considerations- just from the number of ex-girlfriends he has and excuses to justify his actions to avoid to be considered as a cheating b*stard just doesn't sits right. 50 mins of watching them talk with each other bored the hell out of me.
The show is a mess... I understand why the previous casts left. Not sure why they are dragging it...
Also... maybe there is more into it that Dong ma wants- maybe there is something we don't know about Pi-Young's father that maybe- the father is a big shot in a well known company and if both get married then it will be beneficial to Dong ma BUT HELL NO. There's no way because I'm just creating a new scenario that doesn't show any hints in the series.

What in the creepy stalker azz foolishness was this last episode? Why are they making Pi-young out to be some naive, foolish school girl falling for the shenanigans? Season 2 Pi-young would have been like, "What? Bring my beloved daughter around some virtual stranger who wants to get his weirdo kicks watching us walk around? Hell naw! Sir, kick rocks." But Season 3 Pi-young is witn it? I'm side-eying this whole situation. All that was missing was "Every Breath You Take" by The Police playing in the background. Dong Ma is trash. They could have least did a time lapse interval to show he somewhat decently waited to approach Pi-young. Damn, they just coulda flashed "one month later" on the screen. He left Ga bin and her horseshoe bangs in tatters and shambles while he was at some swanky restaurant impressing the next chic. I can't. This show has gone off the rails but like the proverbial train wreck, I can't look away. It's a mess but I'm still like 👀🍿🤷🏽♀️
i think what we need to get here is pi-young has just been through a traumatic experience finding out her mum passed + yu-shin's infidelity at the same damn time she's vulnerable only explanation. secondly yes dong ma is weird and an asshole but he informed her he wanted to tag along and would be following (obviously cz he cant meet ji-a like this)though he blackmailed her she was AWARE he'd be around them(she was even looking for him at some point strangely she also seems to enjoy it) and eventually agreed to this so its not like he was stalking her w/o her knowledge. lastly, pi-young never folded or agreed to his advances i rewatched and she kept ignoring his marriage/child topics changing subjects or not answering i think she sat through it out of respect for mr.seo which she mentioned. the only is she wasnt rude about it and seemed calmer than usual 1. she was so shocked 2. a part of her is also lonely its very obvious.

What can you say about those Seo brothers huh? They don't mess around. The two are very determined when it comes to matters of the heart. I'm still Team Si-Ban even though their relationship is moving at an accelerated pace. I am concerned about U-ram and how he will take the news that Mr. Seo might be his new dad when he is so worried about the state of his own dad. I hate to see the kid in such pain. And speaking of an accelerated pace.......Dong-ma just went from zero to sixty with Pi-young. This guy! I mean I don't think he is psycho but considering his background I can understand his behavior. He was basically raised as an only child and his parents intensely doted on him. He is what would be known in S Korea as a Chaebol (a kid from a super rich family that runs a successful business) so he probably never wanted for anything. He is good looking and a sharp dresser so women probably fall at his feet without hesitation. So what's it to him if he dumps his fiancee to go after a woman he has only met once before and heard screaming at the doctor's office to ask for her hand in marriage and want her to have his child? Just another day in the life of the rich and arrogant. I am surprised that Pi-young hasn't told this guy to get lost but I do think that she mostly did that out of respect for Mr. Seo. I always saw Pi-young as being pretty pragmatic but I guess even she can fall for the charms of someone like Dong-ma. I mean on paper he is definitely a catch although his impetuous nature should be a big red flag for Pi-young. Dong-ma has caught her at a very vulnerable point in her life though as she is recently divorced and just lost her mother. This guy is swooping in at just the right time to take advantage. I think that foreshadowing in S2 where we see she and Dong-ma walking down the aisle maybe coming to fruition whether we like it or not. At least she got to eat good in this episode. The director must be a foodie because the many close up shots of all the food in this series is beyond extra. All I have to say about Ga-bin is she should have known better. Sa-hyeon 's parents and maybe Hye-ryung might be looking for a reconciliation in the marriage of Sa-hyeon and Hye-ryung, but I don't think Sa-hyeon is any where near that notion as he is still hardcore mourning Song Won. Sa-hyeon's dad's machinations of getting those two back together may blow up in his face. And I hate to say this but I think this is not the last time we see Ghost Grandpa. I hope I'm wrong.
@nonabliss you are actually right pi-young is vulnerable she might seem tough and composed but yu-shin really hurt her plus her mums death. because pi-young on a normal day won't take dong-ma's shit moreover I rewatched the episode and looking at it she's probably lonely but also she actually never agreed to anything dong-ma said she kept evading his child/marriage questions or simply refused to respond so its not like she actually gave in to anything she just wasn't rude (once again because of mr.seo his brother) about it and i feel like pi-young might like to idea of dong-ma but he won't get her easily because she's obviously very guarded he will work for it! and i think he's getting even more turned on because shes keeps rejecting him but in a classy way. Pi-young has soo much class she has such a balanced feminine aura(not too hard not too soft) that it will be very difficult for a man to get over her she's very difficult to forget!

She actually likes dong-ma and I think the writers created that convo during dinner and the ga-bin break up (which was so terrible thay was soo wrong btw) to give a contrast of how terrible he was prior to pi-young and show his character development on how he switched for the better after her. There's no way you'll encounter a woman like pi-young and not step up i mean shes so classy and has soo much self respect that any man would be insane to want to miss out on that, with her is its either you step up or bounce so and i doubt any sensible man would give that up.

I don't like the buddy-buddy between mistress and ex-wife, but I sort of get it too. Years ago, when my fiance cheated on me, I felt anger at him but oddly not towards the other woman. I know that's a complete 180 from most modern scenarios where it seems the other-person gets the brunt of the anger and even fists. However, in my mind there was no promise of trust between me and the third party. Did I think badly of them for stooping so low as to sleep with someone in a relationship? Yes. However, that was pretty much it - a low opinion of their morals...not anger. The anger I reserved for the bottom feeder ex. Actually, if I met that girl today, I'd probably buy her a drink. As far as I'm concerned, she saved me some time, money, and trouble. Bottom-Feeder is now on his fourth or fifth wife and cheated on them all. Maybe PY is also sort of grateful for AM. After all, she no longer has to live her life trying to be the perfect wife. I would think that sort of existence rather exhausting.
