From the coffee to the vitamins (or whatever) to the grocery store brands… I’ve noticed this in your face marketing in almost every single KDrama over the past couple years and I gotta say it really takes you out of the show no matter how naturally they try to integrate it into the content.

When Piyong saw her talking to someone on the phone in the bathroom, it “seemed” like she was talking to Dongma’s father (but it was really her visiting Sahyun’s parents) When she stepped out of the bathroom, the guy waiting for her was not her lover but he was someone who was kind of a subordinate to Gabin being nice and courteous to his senior. It just happened that Piyong witnessed it as Gabin moving on. (I have no memory if Piyong knew Dongma’s ex was Gabin or if this scene was necessary at all). Writers use this a lot as a “hook” or cliffhanger. I was furious of Haryun. Siun better step up in insulting him. Why should a mistress ghost possess Hye Ryung? That mistress is still shameless even after death. HR deserves to live her life without unnecessary interference. Also, HR is already a pleasant character, she's a no nonsense person, honest, caring and knows what she wants. Her ex only liked her outer appearance and went ahead to marry her then now acts pitiful then cheats then acts pitiful. HR had the biggest betrayal (ex, in laws, prego mistress, ex didn't even apologize sincerely and only wanted a divorce but acting too pitiful to push for divorce)
I thought this show was about a successful sisterhood of women across three age groups bonded forever not only by the shared pain over their husbands’ infidelities, but by the strength they found in each other through those difficult times. When did it become about cliquey girls in high school who faze their friend out because they got new boyfriends? 🤔

She kept her divorce from her child for over a year because she was so afraid of how it would affect her mentally only to not only tell Ji-Ah about the divorce, but then let her go on an unsupervised trip with her dad’s mistress/live-in girlfriend shortly thereafter… Oh and Pi-Young then dumped another bomb on the poor kid by telling her about her new boyfriend, which was the only reason she mentioned the divorce… Plot twist: he’s not only her boyfriend, but fiancé… after one month of long-distance dating. 🤔 Pi-Young went from all class to straight trash in season 3 and I know people will come for me with passion and fervor because they forget this is a work of fiction and we’re not actually discussing real people… but so be it. 😒👍🏽✌🏽

And also I noted this season seems more fast paced than the other seasons If dong ma breaks pi youngs heart I will be so mad and disappointed they seam to be genuinely happy even Ji a although she is taking it slow. She said she was even uncomfortable with the pace of the relationship, but I guess she's gonna look past all of that and DM's playboy rep to take a chance on love. Does she know that the woman who broke up Si-eun's marriage is the dumped fiancée? DM's got some impressive grilling skills tho. I still think that Grandma DM is plotting something. I expected a little bit more drama, but I guess they have to move this storyline along. I'm not sure where they are going with this whole Song Won possessing HR thing, but it will be strange to see her try to have some lovey-dovey time with SH, as he really seems to dislike her, but he is OK w/her seeing Bada so I guess he doesn't mind her too much. Maybe she will permanently possess HR and then try to get her to reconcile w/ SH and he will get back w/ her because she won't be a bitch on wheels anymore. That maybe too far-fetched even for this show. It is cool to see Papa Seo get along w/ Si-eun and her kids. In the preview for the next episode, I fear that the TTE community's theory about Mr. Seo may be correct as DM said something like he feels for his brother and he was about to drop some big news about him to Si-eun as he told her he wouldn't blame her if she called off the wedding. UH OH!

I believe Hye-Ryung is being possessed by Ghost Won to have her end up with Sa-Hyun. This is the only possible explanation considering all other avenues have been shut down even though Dong-Ma is clearly the best match for her based on their personalities. The idea is to send Hye-Ryung on a journey through her “redemption arc” though she doesn’t need it IMO. Right now Hye-Ryung doesn’t even exist for Sa-Hyun, but post-possession, I believe they will have more contact and he will eventually be amazed by how kind, caring and gentle she will be and want her back. 😍🤢🤮 This will accomplish three things: 1) Hye-Ryung will get to see the “error of her ways” and realize she had such a “good thing” with Sa-Hyun and she not him was the only problem in that relationship 😒 2) Song-Won will be “setting things right” by bringing the two of them back together who in all likelihood wouldn’t have broken up if it wasn’t for her and 3) It’ll give Hye-Ryung a chance to be a traditional wife and mother, which the writers and director clearly think is the superior way of living by including dialogue that Hye-Ryung can’t get a man even though she’s beautiful and by having the men she did want go for women who are traditionally soft and dependent on the man to lead (or rather obedient to them) and have children of their own. 🤡 I could be wrong, of course, but this seems to be the direction they’re headed and I will regret every second I wasted on this show if they do. 🫠
@DJDEBBIED1031 Who else is she supposed to slap her cheating husband in front of except for the people who not only raised him to be babysat by them all his life and come to expect that of his wife - hence the attraction to a much older woman (momma’s boy much?), but allowed him to continue his affair in secret by providing him multiple alibis instead of correcting him on his transgressions and also courted his mistress like she’s their long lost daughter? 🤔😒 Both Sa-Hyun, his mistress AND his parents deserved to be bitch slapped into infinity and beyond for carrying on the way they did the entirety of season 2. Striking a pregnant woman is wrong, of course, but this isn’t some random woman with whom you have a tiff at the grocery store over who saw the last carton of eggs first. She is the woman carrying your husband’s child… eating and smiling with your lying husband and his lying parents… her anger was more than valid though the action was not. If A Mi can have everything she wants and Song-Won can be portrayed as a saint despite carrying a married man’s child, then Hye-Ryung can have her happy ending, which isn’t some pathetic man or his snide family or his baby out of wedlock, it’s herself. The theme of independence vs. selfishness was the original idea of her character’s journey and her arc would finally be complete if she learns to care for others in a more genuine way. This baby may be serving that purpose, but the way the show-runners are getting to that ending is outlandish and so far off track from season 1.

Honestly I agree with what your saying. Personally, I know that not a lot of people likes Hye ryung and I get it. She has done a lot of things that makes her look really ugly and some of the things that happens to her she does deserve but I would love to see a redemption storyline for her before the show ends. For her to recognize her mistakes and to reRIGHT her wrongs but I don’t really want that with her getting back with sa heon because no lol but seeing her change (which she has the potential to) is the biggest thing I want to see if her character.

Maybe she will permanently possess HR and then try to get her to reconcile w/ SH and he will get back w/ her because she won't be a bitch on wheels anymore. That maybe too far-fetched even for this show. It is cool to see Papa Seo get along w/ Si-eun and her kids. In the preview for the next episode, I fear that the TTE community's theory about Mr. Seo may be correct as DM said something like he feels for his brother and he was about to drop some big news about him to Si-eun as he told her he wouldn't blame her if she called off the wedding. UH OH!

I was reviewing this show with my husband giving a run down of characters n drama. Then he states, oh its Korean porn, you know how stepmother and son have taboo relations. He made me ponder...but still watching without him.
I'm seriously confused with the plot of this drama 😒 At this point I am just watching to see who is gonna end up with who, there is no excitement anymore ! Anhh So wong ghost is so unnecessary, hye ryung would love the baby without being possess by so wong🙄 The plot is really messed up😩

I believe Hye-Ryung is being possessed by Ghost Won to have her end up with Sa-Hyun. This is the only possible explanation considering all other avenues have been shut down even though Dong-Ma is clearly the best match for her based on their personalities. The idea is to send Hye-Ryung on a journey through her “redemption arc” though she doesn’t need it IMO. Right now Hye-Ryung doesn’t even exist for Sa-Hyun, but post-possession, I believe they will have more contact and he will eventually be amazed by how kind, caring and gentle she will be and want her back. 😍🤢🤮
This will accomplish three things: 1) Hye-Ryung will get to see the “error of her ways” and realize she had such a “good thing” with Sa-Hyun and she not him was the only problem in that relationship 😒 2) Song-Won will be “setting things right” by bringing the two of them back together who in all likelihood wouldn’t have broken up if it wasn’t for her and 3) It’ll give Hye-Ryung a chance to be a traditional wife and mother, which the writers and director clearly think is the superior way of living by including dialogue that Hye-Ryung can’t get a man even though she’s beautiful and by having the men she did want go for women who are traditionally soft and dependent on the man to lead (or rather obedient to them) and have children of their own. 🤡
I could be wrong, of course, but this seems to be the direction they’re headed and I will regret every second I wasted on this show if they do. 🫠
@DJDEBBIED1031 Who else is she supposed to slap her cheating husband in front of except for the people who not only raised him to be babysat by them all his life and come to expect that of his wife - hence the attraction to a much older woman (momma’s boy much?), but allowed him to continue his affair in secret by providing him multiple alibis instead of correcting him on his transgressions and also courted his mistress like she’s their long lost daughter? 🤔😒
Both Sa-Hyun, his mistress AND his parents deserved to be bitch slapped into infinity and beyond for carrying on the way they did the entirety of season 2. Striking a pregnant woman is wrong, of course, but this isn’t some random woman with whom you have a tiff at the grocery store over who saw the last carton of eggs first. She is the woman carrying your husband’s child… eating and smiling with your lying husband and his lying parents… her anger was more than valid though the action was not.
If A Mi can have everything she wants and Song-Won can be portrayed as a saint despite carrying a married man’s child, then Hye-Ryung can have her happy ending, which isn’t some pathetic man or his snide family or his baby out of wedlock, it’s herself. The theme of independence vs. selfishness was the original idea of her character’s journey and her arc would finally be complete if she learns to care for others in a more genuine way. This baby may be serving that purpose, but the way the show-runners are getting to that ending is outlandish and so far off track from season 1.

@DJDEBBIED1031 Anything Hye-Ryung did to her in-laws as she was getting divorced from Sa-Hyun was in retaliation of everything they did to her. I’m not arguing she’s a saint, but her husband, his parents and that mistress certainly weren’t saints either.
Also, yes the writing is horrible. Who is disagreeing with that? I’m positing the motivation of WHY her storyline is being written that way NOT that it is correct as such. Perhaps reread my comment to provide clarity for yourself.
@DJDEBBIED1031 We do not really see things that differently in this case because I don’t think Hye-Ryung should end up with Sa-Hyun either. That was why I asked you to reread the original comment because what I think the writer and director want for the character isn’t what I think is best for her. Honestly I agree with what your saying. Personally, I know that not a lot of people likes Hye ryung and I get it. She has done a lot of things that makes her look really ugly and some of the things that happens to her she does deserve but I would love to see a redemption storyline for her before the show ends. For her to recognize her mistakes and to reRIGHT her wrongs but I don’t really want that with her getting back with sa heon because no lol but seeing her change (which she has the potential to) is the biggest thing I want to see if her character.

This show just keeps getting cornier. Now we got baby ghost mom? At this point I'm only watching on principle. It's entertaining, but I'm kinda sad I just can't take this seriously anymore. The writers seriously trashed such a good show. Now it's a parody of seasons 1 & 2..
