For my camping trips with a small portable fridge setup, I use the IceCo Go20 powered by a Bluetti EB3A power station. In this video I test how long this setup will run.

And here is the Jackery Solar Saga 60 foldable solar panel charging the Bluetti EB3A while it powers the IceCo Go20. ua-cam.com/video/myBPEbapDqU/v-deo.html

I have that EB3A and use it for camping with a 32 quart fridge. I use a no name 120W solar panel to charge it all day when the sun is up and to power the frig via the EB3A. The EB3A then powers the fridge at night. It usually has about 40 something percent left in the morning. The 120W solar panel brings it back up to 100% very quickly in the morning sun before I pack it up.

Thanks you for the information! Would you be able to share what Solar panel you use? I want to make sure I get one that’s compatible and I really don’t know the difference of what is and isn’t.

@@danib6541 it's a no name that I bought off of Offer Up. It was brand new and cheap. The thing with the EB3A is to make sure you get the proper connector for the input.

Pack few frozen items when on fridge mode to stretch the duration of the battery

Reflectic insulation wrapped the fridge and cut holes for the vents. With a single frozen smart water bottle, food and cooling it down to 32 degrees pre chilling I can get 45 hours on a normal day of 70 degrees to 80 degrees outside temperature.
Works amazing if you carry a 60w to 100w solar panel with the setup. If the sun is out it's an infinite power fridge.

Thank you for making this video series. This is exactly what I was looking for on a practical usability standpoint on these two items. How do you like this combo so far?

Thank you! 🙏 The EB3A is a great addition to the IceCo for a short period like a day or two. But I really like the EcoFlow River Pro 2. It’s a bit bigger, a bit heavier, but lasts a lot longer. That’ll be my combo for long weekends or camping trips. 👍

A lot of guys are hooking up a 50 amp hour and in some cases 100 amp hour LifeP04 A lot of times are using they’re using the little minis and plug them in they claim that helps them run a long time,,,I also I just bought one of these on prime day for $199 so far we just love it I’m gonna put mine on a solar panel too. I want to try a 100 watt panel first and then I’ll try a 200 W set up. I’ll wire up 2 100 W panels and just see what we can do with this thing. for their size I just think they’re incredible. I have a Toyota Tacoma with an aluminum toolbox in the bed I’m thinking about mounting a 100 W flexible panel on top of the lid that way if we go on a long trip we’ll have a lot of extra power and could even charge a small 50 amp hour mini to take a long.

Enjoy your new Bluetti! But be careful of 200 watts, make sure the voltage and amps are within spec of the EB3A. It can fry if over-voltage.

@@justmeonlyme I had a few older five bus bar Renorgy 100 W solar panels laying around that I wasn’t using so I got some of those MC4 Y branch connector things and hooked up the panels that way. I’ve been using that set up to recharge it I got some12 gauge direct burial landscaping wire that’s good for up to 30 V I’m going to use that to bring that into the house that way I’ve got the barrel plug for the end of that wire I’ll do that for now but I’m probably gonna make a small solar charging station and just run wires from a fuse block into the barrel plug and plug that into the EB3A i’ll probably have a 100 amp hour battery on that mini charging station that I build that way I could watch TV probably all night I’m thinking and run a few other things as well,,, I hope so anyway👍

Bluetti, is on sale for the 600 watt for $209. Can the GO20
use an 80 watt solar Panel shown on another video?

    • @JimboP-Outside
      @JimboP-Outside  Рік тому +1

The size of solar panel depends on the power station (Bluetti, EcoFlow, Jackary, etc.) it does not connect directly to the GO20.

The real fun with IceCo doesn't start until you have an issue. Their customer service is so terrible! Person on the phone will continue to defer you to wait for an email from an agent. Then it's like working with an insurance agent who doesn't want to pay out on their policy. They also only reply one time a day, so something that could be concluded in a single phone call took over 3 weeks waiting for them to email me back. Your time is better spent elsewhere if you don't already own the fridge.

its cheaper to buy a 25Ah lith battery since its basically whats inside, a solar charge controller, a 300 watt power inverter and the necessary wiring and battery box and build it yourself.

Yeah, and also three different items to carry around. I’ll stick with the EB3A that I got on sale for $209.
