I can bet that the M3 is not stock. Simple specs comparison (for both stock cars) would clearly set the GT3 apart. If the M3 is tuned, the difference is in the driver's abilities. The GT3 driver was not as good as the M3 driver.

BMW makes great sports cars but just cant seem to grow away from these Sedans & 2 door Sedans sacrificing handling / weight & aerodynamics.... they refuse to go exotic / full on 100% race with their chassis... they want family sports cars (even the M3 is essentially a 2 door family Sedan), like even a regular BMW 3 series or 5 series looks identical to M5 or M3 to the naked eye .... its essentially just a 3 series or a 5 series with a souped up engine & tires.... BMW is stupid but have so much potential...

GT3 RS 991 has around 90 hp more than you, weight is similar because Porsche weights around 1425 kg. So BMW is better machine to be honest
