      Lol yeah I need some meats out back and it was 67* ambient but those 50* street temps weren’t helping. I did have a 260lb passenger for a traction mod though 🤣. I noticed on this pull my 4-5shift is at 6,800rpm instead of 7,200rpm like it’s supposed to be like the 3-4shift was. That’s shorting me a solid 7-8mph going into 5th gear at 124mph instead of this 116mph which is pretty much where it was stock h/c shifting at 6,600rpm so some room to grow for the 60-130 time and weekend warrior pulls on the highway. Thanks bro I appreciate it 💪. How’s yours doing? Going 2650 right? Gonna be gnarly 😮‍💨

      @@cg8er145 yeah trans always doing weird things on these cars different weight or even temps can affect their shifts. You gotta remember that gm’s torque management algorithm constantly makes changes. It can be really annoying to say the least. Yeah I’ve had the 2650 for months now but the engine is apart at the machine shop with the same exact problem. It has only 300 miles since I put it back in and my bearings are already messed up. Tell me what did they set your bearing clearance at and what oil did they want you to run? I’m curious. I haven’t even gone into boost with the 2850 yet. The new machine shop wants me to replace my crank I’m just going to say screw it and I’m putting a stroker in, going 416. Might as well I can get a stoker crank a lot faster then a 386 forged crank. I also am probably going to go fore fuel system at this point I can’t stand the fact I have a bap and aux pump. I feel like it’s Frankensteined together. First I have to get my tuner to agree to all this 😂

      @@even_i2622 agreed trans tuning is always finicky and damnit man that sucks about your bearings. I agree replace the crank it’s gotta be the issue. Tbh I have no idea LPE did what they do and I didn’t question them that in depth. My buddy who works there did recommend mobil1 or royal purple with a zinc additive. Damn bro why you gotta call me Frankenstein with my bap and dsx aux pump 🤣 jk…they work so far and if you’re wanting to do the fore system do what works for you 💪 zero issues here though nor my buddy who has same fuel setup on both his 900-1,000whp+ lt4 zl1 and c7z. We do share the same tuner though who’s top notch 💪. Once he sorts my 4-5 shift she’s gonna get rowdy. Pretty sure I ran a faster 60-130 today with a passenger than I did solo 5.77 in 3* cooler weather. Including a short shift 4-5 shift today. I can’t wait to see yours back in action and deep in the 5’s! Maybe even 4’s when you get it sorted 💪

      @@cg8er145 lol I didn’t realize you were running the same. I might hold off on the fuel system because my tuner didn’t seem to want me to get the fore last time i mentioned it a few months back so I think it will be more headaches. Trust me I don’t really want to install it because I have to drop the tank. . What I’m really interested in is what weight oil do you run. Because I feel that the 20w50 might be part of the problem in mine. I’m definitely needing to get it sorted out this time because I can’t keep going like this . I really don’t understand how tf this keeps happening with this car. Anyway glad yours is running great and that it seems to be getting faster. Those shift points will definitely make your times better. . Hope the fam is doing well and the weather sounds like it’s not to bad Alford you. It’s been one storm after another here. But I’m sure it’ll get nicer soon. Spring is almost here!

      Thanks man! I’m hoping for some dry days in the upper 50’s and that we don’t just go straight to summer heat like it did here last year. I been slacking…was supposed to have my AUCA’s on and have it aligned by now. I need to get on the ball

      @@freak_5.042 my guess on 20’s would be 10.3-10.5@143-144. It might do better but I would rather low ball my guess than be optimistic and disappointed lol

      The engine is built with the exception of the stock crank still. It doesn’t mind shifting at 7,200rpm

    What fuel system upgrades have you done to be able to flow full e85 with the P1X?

      It’s an E50 blend. Lingenfelter big bore hpfp,+30 injectors,LT4 lpfp,DSX aux in-line pump,JMS bap. Has a BTR stg2 sc cam also with a +38 fuel lobe to help drive the hpfp. P1x on 11-14psi throughout rpm band. I could probably get away with full E if I pulleyed up and ran 8-10psi but that wouldn’t be near as much fun 😈

      Complete lt4 fuel system with JMS BAP when I bought the car with stock h/c and stock pistons/rods on 93oct 605whp. Current fuel system LPE big bore hpfp +30 injectors lt4 lpfp dsx aux inline pump JMS BAP. A complete lt4 fuel system with BAP will carry a build to 600-625whp on boost or n/a. Probably around $1,000 or so. If you’re staying n/a a complete lt4 fuel system with JMS BAP will have you covered even on full E.

      If you plan on boosting the car do not invest in the lt4 fuel system with the exception of the lt4 lpfp as you will need to upgrade injectors and hpfp beyond 600whp. Will need LPE big bore hpfp and at least +30 injectors. The lt4 lpfp is fine with a dsx aux fuel pump. This will fuel you to 900whp on an e50 blend like mine

      Definitely a good setup.^^
      Fuel supply is like the number one hurdle with these LT cars. The engines themselves will support making crazy power it’s just a matter of supplying enough fuel to do it.

      @@cg8er145I’m at 660whp on LT4 HPFP/LPFP stock LT1 injectors. Been 3 years now, P1X at 10.9lbs peak. Haven’t had an issue yet.

      @@kennethpowers8995 agreed fuel system is the main hurdle. After that is the stock lt1 pistons/rods. Stock pistons are a ticking time bomb above 650whp. Lt4 pistons good for 1,000whp+

      Thanks man! Majority of the rpm band wot 12-12.5psi but after 6,700-7,200rpm 13-14psi depending on ambient temps of course. The scenario I gave would be in 50-60* weather. Obviously less psi in warmer temps. In colder temps more psi. P1x 3.7” upper pulley, 8.25”lower pulley

It moves pretty well but I can’t shift like these new autos and I can’t fuck with your car lmao you’re probably 700ish wheel spinning a blower. I’ve personally seen a hci turbo SBE ls3 a make 800+ at 16psi on E85.. Im kind of just waiting on mine to blow up and move to a forged unit. Everything else is ready except the block itself. 9” rear etc is already in. I’m actually a bit surprised at this ls1. PO had it fully rebuilt at 100k and I bought it right after that..heads and cam came a month later and It shifted at 7k for 40k miles and made 450 wheel and now has been making probably 700+ crank for 15k miles. Pretty much a requirement to give this motor a proper send off. It doesn’t deserve a death by spun rods. I don’t drive it as much anymore as I’m getting older but this car put me in a chain of events that caused me to meet my spouse..So it’s been decided the car gets to stay forever and gets a new motor when this one gives up.

Nice sounds like your setup is ready for a new motor when that time comes and cool back story behind it all 👍

F1a blower and it wouldn’t matter what you have done to yours. 3,300lbs vs 4,100lbs+ with just me in the car.
