Thanks Kumar for respect Muslim people in Malaysia. Mostly every year this eid always got negative vibe from around the world. Thanks again Kumar for this vlog
Kumaar Family’s tolerance to celebrate and get to know different beliefs’ celebration amazes me 🥺 cause for me tolerance is a key value to human being this world. Keep being you guys Logesh and Rachel ☺️!!!
Its a 2 way streets my darling. You see how he greet muslims "selamat hari raya haji" and some of muslim preachers forbade muslims to greet other religious celebration. So... P/s: before someone called me out for being bitter cina. I am melayu muslim btw.
Make love not war from a Muslim is indeed funny. Can I leave Islam peacefully in this country without being bullied for the rest of the life by the Malays and the authorities
HI Logesh & Rachel I am really glad that you had the time while you were in Malaysia to enjoy the special day Hari Raya Haji with very close friends and of course both of you wearing your national costumes. Well your two boys Zaden & Kyren seemed to have a great day to.
While "the chosen ones" perform Haji in Makkah (meeting up with countless pilgrims from all over the world in Arafah, spending the whole night in Muzdalifah and throwing pebbles in Mina), we sacrifice cows and distribute its meat to the poor, in Malaysia and all over the world! I wish I could join "the chosen ones" someday! (Update: Alhamdulillah! I'll be joining "the chosen ones" this year)
Ohh...Zaden n Kyren at the beginning...so so precious. Yea good choice on not making the boys watch the actual qurban process. My daughter watched when she was 4,at my mom's insistence and needless to say she was traumatized for a few yrs.I remember trying to explain the significance of the qurban to her but it didnt help haha Omg Logesh we must be related...i love love desserts ( choc cakes, cream pies, cheese cakes,cookies...bring them on 😂 ) but other than bananas, I loathe fruit desserts. No cherry pies, apple struddle, peach cobbler or fruit triffle for me. However it's a big YES to banana cake, banana cream pies and cokodok pisang 😊
Selamat Hari Raya Haji to both of you and kids guys, maybe next time you can spend time at kampung. Come to east coast and try to experience the way of local celebrating Hari Raya traditionally and classic ways.
It is a good HD Camera. Ky Ky is starting to talk after having his short haircut. Wow! When my nephew at that age had a short haircut, words were coming out from his mouth instantly. Meaning he was talking. Both boys are beautiful boys. I can relate with Rachel, if she says, " I love both my boys, but there can be such a thing called favouritism and my favoritism is Ky Ky". Does it makes sense at all Kumar? I am a Malaysian Indian. I lived here in Australia for some 44 years now. I thoroughly love watching your Malaysian expedition. Last time you all went there, was flood and etc. It was not complete. This time it is fulfillment. I never thought much about Hari Raya Haji and its reason for celebration. Well, I still am not sure today. Is it a celebration for the Muslims paying homage by going to Mecca once a year? Is that the celebration? Then later upon again, Hari Raya Puasa is the celebration of, after Fasting. That I know. Continue to enjoy your holidays and blessings to all of you Happy Happy Family. Give Kye Kye a soft gentle on behalf of me ,as he would with a Cat. You have to invest into a Cat when you return home Kumar for Kye Kye. Have a blessed day and thank you for sharing the recent video. God Bless and take care most of all! Bye!
Going to Makkah once a year? No! Islam says "at least once in a lifetime"! Also, "the chosen ones" must be prepared with enough money and good health before departing to Makkah!
@@handsomemann1 Buy souvenirs for family members and relatives, but only after they have finished performing Haji because for as long as they're still wearing ihram (the white toga), they're not allowed to buy anything!
In a context for wishing this festivity to people, we'd say "Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha" , or "Salam Aidil Adha". Say if we come to open house, we'd say just " Selamat Hari Rayaaaa". Just sharing infos.
Happy Ied Haji! In Indonesia we always have KETUPAT, OPOR AYAM, RENDANG & SAMBAL ATI on our Hari Raya Ied Fitri & Haji😍. Cek my video how to cook those menus.
I'm with Logesh. I pick off fruit from the dessert when possible, and eat it first. Banana works. Somehow I like peaches and cream. All the food here looks tasty.
Let them be! Besides, Hari Raya is meant to be celebrated everywhere, not in kampung only! Even city folks prefer to celebrate Hari Raya in cities nowadays!
Raya haji is best celebrated in kampung because it's a community involvement event, for city dwellers like them it's just another day of public holiday. That's why they ask you to wear baju melayu n all but they are still wearing casual 😅
I know because I grow up in a village myself but whether it's a village or a city, Hari Raya is still meant to be a wonderful occasion! Also, it's not really necessary to celebrate Hari Raya in your hometown only! I mean, you can celebrate Hari Raya in KL and still enjoy the wonderful atmosphere around you! Besides, most city folks prefer to celebrate Hari Raya in cities nowadays! 😇
@@whoswho6524 I see but in the end, it still depends on the person! Whether he or she wants to enjoy the festive spirit in a rural area or an urban area, it's up to them!
I say they will retire in Malaysia once they withdraw all the American pension while the kids already working and in the process sign up for MM2H by then $1 is RM20 hahahaha so chillax fella😄😆
I do agree, when Logesh n Rachel in Malaysia, the video contents were much more vibrant, colourful, diverse ! I hope they will come back more often to Malaysia.
I guess 2 months late is okay as long as its in the same year but i think having raya haji in the kampungs are more authentic. But hey, take anything that you can get right? Maybe next year your manager can arrange celebrating hariraya in the kampungs. Wearing jubah is getting more of a trend now for hariraya although it originates from the middle east. Plus it is not as hot and uncomfortable than the baju melayu. Its easier to wear and doesnt need the 'samping'. Maybe thats why its the new trend.
Thanks Kumar for respect Muslim people in Malaysia. Mostly every year this eid always got negative vibe from around the world. Thanks again Kumar for this vlog
